Pixi Skintreats Best of Brights Set

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my first impression review of this Pixi set. I’ve heard so many good things about some of the products that are included in this best of brights set that I knew I had to pick it up. This set retails for $22 at Target, you can purchase it here.

What’s in this set:

Glow Mud Cleanser – 13 milliliters

Glow Tonic – 30 milliliters

Glow Mud Mask – 13 milliliters

Glow Mud Mask:

First off this mask is a similar texture to the cleanser and it makes your skin so soft and hydrated. I left my mask on for 20 minutes as I was finishing up a tv show. I know I know it states it’s a 15 minute mask, but who really follows those rules. I lost track of time and boom it was on my face for 20 minutes. Surprisingly the mask didn’t break me out which is always a plus in my book.

Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner:

Glow Mud Cleanser:

This cleanser left my skin feeling baby soft. I was so surprised by the way my skin felt. It was a mixture fo clean and hydrated skin that I am not used to. It did a great job of prepping my skin for the rest of my skincare routine.

Overall I enjoyed this skincare set. It has given me a chance to test out three new products that I would have never picked up full size. I now know what all the fuzz is all about with the Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner which is one of the main reason why I picked this up. If you are curious in trying out any of these products I highly recommend you try this kit out.

Have you ever tried any of Pixi products before? Have you tried any of their skincare products before?

Have a good weekend!

Guest Post: Belif Aquabomb Review

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I have a lovely treat for you all, one of my friends has so kindly agreed to do a few guest posts as I try to juggle grad school and this lovely blog. I hope you all enjoy and don’t forget to leave a lovely comment for her to read.

So I don’t usually write reviews about products but having used Belif Aqua Bomb, this is something I am passionate about. I have combination skin that leans towards the dry end of the spectrum. Once I get out of the shower in the morning, my face is super dry so I usually put some generic lotion on it.
This time I put Aqua Bomb on instead and it goes on smoothly with a cooling effect. It also doesn’t leave you with that slimy feeling that most lotions give you when you apply it. I went all day and my face was super hydrated. I didn’t even see my skin flaking (yay genetics!) through out the day. During the night, I washed my face and reapplied. I am now going to ditch all other face lotion and stick with this one.
Though it is a tad pricey, they can honestly have my first born children.

Review: Bosnia Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash-Off Treatment

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am reviewing a new mask/ treatment that I picked up a month or so ago and I was  extremely curious to try out. I picked mine up in a bundle with another Boscia mask that I will be reviewing later this month.

This is what they claim it will do:

This decadent treatment is formulated with the power of black and white charcoal and the added benefits from Kaolin Clay to detoxify and cleanse the skin and pores deeply without irritation. The formula also moisturizes, balances, and hydrates for a clearer, more refined, stronger, and healthier looking complexion.

This mask was so interesting to use. The pot contains two different colors of product and you mix them both to create the final product that you place on your face. It dries up like any other mask you would use. I could definitely tell that my face felt cleaner and more refreshed  after using this. Keep in mind that you will feel this on your skin working it’s magic so if you aren’t into mask that have a little bit of tingle or presence to them this may not be for you.

I think this is a nice treat if you are looking for a new mask that leaves your face and skin feeling refreshed.

Have you tried this mask? Are you a fan of Boscia products?

Have a great day!

Clinique Pep-Start Sampler Set

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am reviewing this new skincare line from Clinique. It’s called the Pep-start and has three new products that are suppose to get your skin bright and glowing. Clinique is one of my favorite skincare brands and I love that they came out with a trial version of this for everyone to try and see if it works for them or not.

This set contains:
– Pep-Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser (1 oz)
– Pep-Start HydroBlur Moisturizer (0.5 oz)                                                                                                   -Pep-Start Eye Cream ()

GUYS! This stuff is amazing and trust me when I say this. This exfoliating cleanser is soft enough that you can scrub this cleanser for a solid minute without irritating your face. I love the smell this product has and how smooth and fresh it leaves my face.

I have tried many eye creams and I have to say that this is a really nice moisturizing eye cream for day and night time. It’s not thick and it’s not too runny. It absorbs into your skin within a few minutes and so far it hasn’t irritated my eczema.

When I first looked at the consistency of this I was a bit intrigued as to how it was going to work on my oily skin. I normally use the Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel. This has a thick consistency, but applies evenly on your skin without having rub your face excessively. I would say that if you have oily skin this is a good moisturizer for the night rather than the day. I did notice more oil build up when I wore this during the day.

Overall I think if you stumble upon this set you should try it out or gift it to someone who loves to try new skincare products.

Have you tried this set? What are your favorite Clinique products?

Have a great day!
