Heart Felt Wool Dryer Balls Review

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I bring you a different kind of review. Today I am reviewing these Felt wool dryer balls made from pure New Zealand wool. I have been trying to make a effort at taking better care of my clothes. I was reading online and stumbled upon these reusable wool balls that can replace your dryer sheets which can only be used once. I was sold when I read that these dryer balls are reusable and would practically pay for themselves before I have to think about replacing them.

Now you may be asking well how do you get your clothes to smell as nice as the dryer sheets? All of the reviews I read said to apply two to three drops of my favorite essential oil and viola! you have amazing smelling clothes.

I’ve used them a few times now, and I can honestly say that these dryer balls do cut down on my clothes dry time. I also love that I can control what scent my clothes smell like without taking away the softness.

Have you ever tried felt wool dryer balls? Any other tips or tricks you use on your laundry?

Have a great day!

PalladioxCaseyHolmes Liquid Lipsticks

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am reviewing a new liquid lipstick collaboration. It is the Palladio x Casey Holmes liquid lipsticks. Casey Holmes teamed up with Palladio beauty and she came out with three new liquid lipsticks. These liquid lipsticks retail for $10 each and available at Sally Beauty Supply and online here and here.

As you all know I am a huge liquid lipstick fan and when I saw the collaboration was announced I knew I had to get my hands on all three shades.

The Packaging is clear plastic and it allows you to see the true color of the product. She picked three very wearable shades that work on a variety of different skin tones.

What they claim these liquid lipsticks do:

-a transfer-proof finish and unbelieveably long wear

-lightweight and rich matte colors that glide on effortlessly

Georgia – peachy-nude.

Ob-sessed- a rich berry.

Rescue- A warm taupe.

These liquid lipsticks aren’t the most long wearing I have tried. They do stay on longer than most others. If you don’t eat a salad or something messy you may get away with not having to touch up. When I’ve worn all three colors I’ve had to touch up the corners of my mouth, but nothing else.

I would recommend these if you are in the marker for new liquid lipsticks.

Have you tried these out yet? Are you a fan of Palladio Beauty?

Have a great day! See you all on Friday.

Guest Post: Belif Aquabomb Review

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I have a lovely treat for you all, one of my friends has so kindly agreed to do a few guest posts as I try to juggle grad school and this lovely blog. I hope you all enjoy and don’t forget to leave a lovely comment for her to read.

So I don’t usually write reviews about products but having used Belif Aqua Bomb, this is something I am passionate about. I have combination skin that leans towards the dry end of the spectrum. Once I get out of the shower in the morning, my face is super dry so I usually put some generic lotion on it.
This time I put Aqua Bomb on instead and it goes on smoothly with a cooling effect. It also doesn’t leave you with that slimy feeling that most lotions give you when you apply it. I went all day and my face was super hydrated. I didn’t even see my skin flaking (yay genetics!) through out the day. During the night, I washed my face and reapplied. I am now going to ditch all other face lotion and stick with this one.
Though it is a tad pricey, they can honestly have my first born children.
Where you can purchase this product: Sephora
The Price: $38 USD
Rating: 5/5

Pantene 3 Minute Miracle Moisture Renewal Deep Conditioner

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a review on this relatively new hair product that I have been trying out for over a month. I wanted to try and use up most of the product before I reviewed it. As you all know I absolutely love a good hair mask. I try and be economically savvy when it comes to how much money I spend on hair products. I’m not in a place in my life where I can fork over 20+ dollars on shampoo or conditioner. I like to keep things relatively at a low cost and that means I use deep conditioner to keep my hair healthy, and soft.

Product Detail:

-Perfect for extra dry hair.

– It delivers healthy hydration to transform every strand into pure silk.

This product smells really pleasant and clean. It has a consistency kind of like yogurt and a palm size amount is sufficient to cover medium length hair. This deep conditioner is designed to sit on your hair for only 3 minutes and it rinses out without much trouble from your hair.

I will be complete honest and say that this product doesn’t feel as hydrating as the Aussie 3 minute miracle deep conditioner which I have used for years now. It’s also not as thick as the Aussie one. I think if you aren’t looking for a super hydrating deep conditioner this maybe a good one to check out. I alternate between this Pantene and the Aussie deep conditioner.

Have you tried this Pantene 3 minute miracle deep conditioner? What are your thoughts?

Any other affordable deep conditioners you would recommend?

Have a great day!

Review: Tarteist Lip Wardrobe Duo

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am reviewing this awesome lip kit by Tarte. I picked it up a few weeks ago and I have been in love with how fitting both of the colors are for fall. Sadly this sold out online, but I did see this at my local Sephora. I’m going to take a wild guess and say that maybe a few  other  physical store may still have this kit available if you are interested in it.

This kit includes:

-Tarteist Lip Paint in Namaste

-Tarteist Glossy Lip Pain in WCW

I absolutely love how unique this lip paint is. At first the color seemed weird and I thought it wasn’t going to work with my skin tone. After trying it out I absolutely love how it looks on my lips. It’s not a every day color for me, but it’s nice to have in my collection to play around with. It doesn’t dry out my lips and it stays on for a really long time without you having to reapply.

How pretty is this lip gloss color? It just screams Fall. I love how easy it is to apply and how pigmented it is. The only downside is that it’s not long wearing and if you eat or drink anything the vibrant color is gone and you are left with a faint stain on your lips.

Overall if you are looking to try out this new range of lip products from Tarte I would highly suggest trying to track this kit down.

Review: L’OREAL Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my thought on a drugstore foundation that I was gifted by one of my lovely friends. To be honest I didn’t pay much attention to this foundation when it first came out. It may have been the fact that it said glow in the packaging and may have put me off from even considering it. As you all know I have super oily skin. Like disco ball shiny skin a few hours after I apply my make up. I try and stay away from using too much highlighter and try and keep my skin as matte as possible letting the oils from my skin be the dewiness everyone else sees through out the first few hours.

I wanted to share what they say this foundation will do for you and then talk about my experience:

-All-day glow

     -Up to 24 HR foundation

Discover the new pro finish of longwear: up to 24 hour wear with a hydrating glow. Lightweight and creamy, this long lasting foundation goes on smooth with a glow finish that lasts. With medium coverage, it instantly hides imperfections for a clear complexion. The hydrating foundation with SPF is ideal for normal to dry skin.

So honestly I have a love hate relationship with this foundation. I absolutely love how it looks on my face the first hour I have it on. After that it just doesn’t look right, partially because of how oily my skin is. I blot my face quite frequently and then the foundation just looks dull and matte. I have also noticed that half way through the day it rubs off on my nose and on my chin. More often than not if I am home and have to leave again in the afternoon I will reapply more foundation on my nose and chin and sometimes on my forehead. Everywhere else my foundation stays put.

If you have oily skin I would suggest you pass on this foundation. It’s too much of a gamble to waste $12-$15 on when you can find better foundations that will work with your skin type.

Have you tried this foundation? What are you thoughts on it?

Have a great day!
