Empties + I hit pan on – Beauty Products

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am excited to share with you all some beauty product that I have finished up + some that I have hit pan on, yay! As you all know my goal is to use up any product that I purchase. That is not the case for every product in my beauty collection. I thought I would share this historic moment with everyone I finished three products, plus hit pan on four products.

I am hoping to keep this momentum going and will make this a series on the blog if you all enjoy knowing what products I finish up.

First up are the products I managed to completely finish. I finished two concealers and a mini dry shampoo. I have been tackling quite a few face products because they have gotten out of control. I definitely need to stop buying concealers I have way too many.

These are all the products that I hit pan on and I am so excited because I normally don’t stick to one product long enough to see the pan. I’m crossing my fingers that these will soon be finished so I can start tackling other products in my makeup collection.

What are some products that you are working on finishing up? Do you get just as excited as I do when you finish a makeup product?

Have a great day and I will see you on Friday.

Pixi Skintreats Best of Brights Set

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my first impression review of this Pixi set. I’ve heard so many good things about some of the products that are included in this best of brights set that I knew I had to pick it up. This set retails for $22 at Target, you can purchase it here.

What’s in this set:

Glow Mud Cleanser – 13 milliliters

Glow Tonic – 30 milliliters

Glow Mud Mask – 13 milliliters

Glow Mud Mask:

First off this mask is a similar texture to the cleanser and it makes your skin so soft and hydrated. I left my mask on for 20 minutes as I was finishing up a tv show. I know I know it states it’s a 15 minute mask, but who really follows those rules. I lost track of time and boom it was on my face for 20 minutes. Surprisingly the mask didn’t break me out which is always a plus in my book.

Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner:

Glow Mud Cleanser:

This cleanser left my skin feeling baby soft. I was so surprised by the way my skin felt. It was a mixture fo clean and hydrated skin that I am not used to. It did a great job of prepping my skin for the rest of my skincare routine.

Overall I enjoyed this skincare set. It has given me a chance to test out three new products that I would have never picked up full size. I now know what all the fuzz is all about with the Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner which is one of the main reason why I picked this up. If you are curious in trying out any of these products I highly recommend you try this kit out.

Have you ever tried any of Pixi products before? Have you tried any of their skincare products before?

Have a good weekend!

My new Favorite Pressed Powder

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a new obsession. I owe this find to my best friend Mavra she was the one that told me to check out this pixi by Petra color correcting powder foundation. This powder foundation is a bit pricey, but it is well worth every penny. It is a fine mill powder that does not cake up the face. The one downside of this product is the shade range which is extremely limited (3 shades) so finding the correct shade can be hard.

If you are interested in finding this particular product check your local Target or click here to purchase it online via the pixi website.

Have you tried this powder? What are your thoughts on this product?

Have a great day!

Ipsy Glam Bag: December 2014

Happy Friday Everyone!

It’s that time again to show you what I received in my Ipsy Glam Bag. I have to say this month was one of my favorites thus far. Ipsy Glam Bags has been a hit and miss with me, but boy did they straighten up this month. I am so excited to use all of the products I received.

I love that I got a little bit of everything in this bag. I got a facial cleanser, a eyeshadow, a dual ended eye brush, a mascara and last but not least a lip product (my favorite). I wish every month was like this, but sadly that has not been the case. Well Ipsy you have managed to save yourself one more month and after that if you don’t impress I will be canceling you. I feel like I have give Ipsy a full year to see what they could provide to my beauty routine and sometimes I would get things I would never use and to me that is not a good use of my $10.

What did you receive in your December Ipsy glam bag?

Have a great Weekend!

See you on Monday.
