NY Graffitti Wall

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

While I was in NY two weekends ago I stumbled upon this awesome graffiti wall. I just had to stop and admire this beautiful piece of NY. I can’t describe how awesome all the pieces of graffiti art were. They told a beautiful story in the hidden streets of NY.

One thing I am trying to do this month is be more present and enjoy my surroundings a little bit more. I hope you all enjoyed this blog post.

What is one of your favorite places that inspires you?

Have a great day!

Thru My Eyes #4

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am re-introducing a series I kind of forgot about,  it’s a blog post that I created to share some of my random photographs. These often times don’t have a particular space in my regular post, but are pretty to look at. I’m excited to pick this series back up again and really play around with it and get creative.

I hope you all enjoy these random pictures and bare with me as I try and find my creativity again with this series.

Have a great day!

Don’t forget to stop by again tomorrow for more content.

30 Days to go…

Happy Monday Everyone!

On May 18th I will be completing one of my biggest dreams up to date and that is receiving my MSW. I did a small photoshoot to celebrate the occasion and I wanted to share a few pictures that I think represent where I am currently in life.

Stay tune for a break down of my graduation cap in the next blog post this up coming Wednesday.

Let the count down begin!

Have a great week.

48 HR Vacation: The View

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you all a few photos that I took while on my trip to South Carolina. I had a blast and I was so sad to leave, but I am feeling refreshed and ready to tackle my last year of grad school. I will most likely have one more post later on next week about Parasailing and that will conclude the beach posts.

The view was incredible and I can’t wait to go back at some point! Hopefully you enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

Have a great weekend!

Camera Lenses

It is that time in my life that I upgrade my beauty camera with a lens.

I am looking at a few options and here is what I have narrowed them down to.

What I want from a Lens: A lens that will allow me to zoom in and take portrait pictures and close-up shots of my surroundings.

1. Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Lens – Retail Price $125.00

Description: The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II  is a compact and high-performance, standard telephoto lens. Its Gaussian optics  provide sharp delineation from near to far focusing distances. The color balance  is excellent for a standard lens

2.Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Lens – Retail Price $420.00

Description: This Standard and Medium Telephoto Lens  provides you with the image closest to how your eye perceives the subject and  are excellent for portraits and for giving images a natural depth of field. The Canon EF85mm f/1.8 USM is a highly practical  medium telephoto lens with superb delineation and portability. The lens provides  images that are sharp and clear at all apertures. Through computer simulations,  the lens has been designed to give beautiful background blur. Since the front  lens group does not rotate during focusing, special filter effects are not  affected.

Anyone of you have a Canon DSL camera? What must have lenses do you recommend?
