My Halloween Costume 2015: Zombie Wife

Happy Halloween Eve/Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my halloween costume. For the past two years I have been perfecting my zombie characters. Last year I was a New Year Eve Zombie and this year I am zombie wife with elegant pearls and no husband. Most people tend to buy the pre-made wounds and that’s all fine and dandy until you reach the register and you spent $50 bucks on just wounds and nothing else.

I like to go the cost effective route and thrift my outfit for my costume and create my own wounds and scars. I won’t go step by step by check out this video Michelle Phan made on how to achieve this look.

What you will need:

-Liquid Latex

-Fake Blood

-A red lipstick

-A black lipstick

-Foundation to match your skin

-Toilet paper or tissues

-Various purple and brown shadows

-One to two make up brushes

At this point I hadn’t added the gel fake blood yet but I tried to add as much dimension to myself as possible before completing my look.

Add dry shampoo to your hair and tease it until it looks like you were attacked and dragged while still keeping your dress crisp and clean. I also added wounds to my arms and legs for a full affect.

What are you dressing up as? I’m curious let me know!

I hope everyone has a wonderful halloween and that everyone is safe!

I will see you on Monday!

What I’m Loving Week #29 – Day 7

First off Happy Monday! I know I know Mondays are never fun, but hey at least you’re one day closer to the weekend. Sending positivity to you all on this wonderful start of the week.

I felt really strange not posting my WILW# last Monday. I guess that’s what I get for picking to do a blog challenge on a month that doesn’t start on a Monday. Any ways I’m glad I get to share with you all my favorite things this week.

This past week was a crazy, yet fun week. I never realized how hard this blogging challenge was going to be. All the planning, editing and writing of post was a hard task to balance, but I made it and I am really happy with what I have posted recently. Hopefully you all like it as well!

Let’s start this off right! I recently watched Now you see me and can I say this really surprised me. I didn’t have high hopes for it. I heard it was good but, I just wasn’t buying in to it. Let me tell you it is an interesting storyline and it kept me very entertained. Oh and the Pringle’s let’s just say were an extra bonus for being so good this week.

As you can imagine this past week was filled with a little less sleep than usual. I had to work wonky shifts which meant I had to balance more than what I normally do. That is where both of these concealers come in handy. Believe it or not both of these pair together gave me the best coverage under my eyes.

Next lets talk about this duo-fiber brush. It is the best thing to come to my life since the freaking’ Pringle’s. No but seriously this brush is multi-purpose and a great add to my collection. This lovely little travel hairspray has saved my hair from going crazy, so THANK YOU Big Sexy Hair for this wonderful gift.

I am so excited for this week’s post.
I hope to see you all tomorrow!

Well Hello there!
From the title of this post you now know I will be attempting the 31 days of blogging, challenge. I decided to pick October because the weather starts to change and you actually feel like fall is in full swing. If inspiration was ever going to be at an all time high this is the month for me.

What can you expect these next 31 days? Well let me tell you that anything and everything can happen. I will try to continue to post about beauty since I enjoy those kinds of post, but I will also try different styles of post, nothing too crazy I promise!

What this month will include:
-25 or 50 Facts about me tag (not sure which one yet)
-What I’m loving week #…
-More photography
-Inspirational quotes
-Beauty post/Reviews
-Running update
-Baking/ Recipes
-More OOTD

I might be a bit ambitious for this month but what the heck if you don’t try you won’t succeed.

If you have any cool post ideas let me know. I love to hear from you all. Chime away in the comments, PLEASE!

Let’s hope for a lot of inspiration and a good month!

Have a great Weekend and I will see you October 1st!
