October Challenge Completed – Day 31

First off Happy Halloween!
I hope everyone had a great Thursday and that you are looking forward to your weekend.
I have had such a great time being able to blog all 31 days. It has given me a new hope for blogging.
I would have never imagined that I could go 31 straight days posting content on my blog.
I am so proud of how far I have come with this blog and wanted to leave you with a little inspiration.

I will be taking a week off from blogging to enjoy some of the content some of the blogs I follow posted. I slacked off and would like some time to gather new winter inspiration. See you in next Friday!

Four Things + 100 Followers – Day 29

Today I wanted to share four of my favorite moments this past month. I sadly didn’t have my big camera with me but I always have my phone so you get instagram photos to look at. Enjoy!

The first thing is this beautiful fake flower arrangement I created for one of our tables at work. It gives the room a nice touch of autumn.

The second thing is this beautiful necklace I picked up early this month at a local thrift store. Often times I go in and can’t find a single thing, but then other days you find a gem like this and it makes thrift store adventures worth it.

The third thing would have to be wearing blazers. I absolutely love the combination of dark jeans and a well tailored blazer on top of a comfy shirt.

Last but not least is my current fall obsession, Chai tea with a shot of pumpkin flavoring. This is heaven for those of us who don’t drink coffee.

In other news I have hit 100 followers! Ahhh Thanks you so much. I can’t believe that many people want to see what I am up to and read what I have to say. I am so thankful for each and everyone of you. This has been such a lovely surprise after a not so good Monday. Thank you once again.

See you all Tomorrow!

What I am Loving Week # 32 – Day 28

Hello everyone, Happy Monday!
I am going to keep this post nice and simple since I am currently dealing with an allergic reaction from Zumba this morning :(.

Here is what I have been loving this past week.

I didn’t get to do a lot extra things this past week due to my work schedule but I am excited for this week I get to be able to catch up on some blogs, meet up with friends and plan something yummy to eat.

The three things are so random photographed together but I have absolutely been enjoy them. I have started reading Mindy Kaling’s book and can I just say this is just what I needed to help me get through last week. I might have started dipping my hands in some early Halloween candy hence the lollipops. Random side note: Yes! those are sock and I absolutely love them.

I have two beauty products I have been loving. This duo-fiber brush from Real Techniques is perfect for powder application it gives you a natural look. My love for a nice pink lip continues with this Revlon Lip Bitter in Sorbet.

I hope you all have a great Monday!
See you tomorrow!

Pumpkin Bread – Day 26

Oh joy it is Saturday! A day we all look forward to all week so why not treat yourself to something yummy. Today I will sharing this pumpkin bread recipe that I found here. It is perfect for this chilly weather we have been hit with. So grab your coziest sweater and serve yourself a nice slice of this wonderfulness.
*side note I finally learned how to use text links. I’m such a slow poke*

Here is what you will need + some other things.

I always like to add my own twist to recipes I find online. This one was no different and I think I made it even better. I replaced the water in the recipe with milk, used less sugar and added some chocolate chips. Be creative and try out different ingredients on your recipes you might find some replacements that take your recipe to the next level.

Have a wonderful Saturday!
See you all tomorrow.

What I’m listening to… – Day 23

Today’s post is going to be pretty simple. I wanted to share with you three songs I have been loving.
I guess I should tell you a little bit about my personal music taste before I have you listen to what I am enjoying. I grew up listening to the Beatles and Latin American music and as I grew older I enjoyed listening to pretty much anything (jazz, blues, rap, hip-hop, r&b, country, salsa, etc.). I enjoy pretty much all kinds of music, except metal I just never got into it.

The first song is Old School Love ft. Ed Sheeran.

The second song is Rough Water by Travie McCoy ft Jason Mraz

Last but not least is Everybody’s Got Somebody But Me by Hunter Hayes ft. Jason Mraz

Can we just stop and acknowledge how awesome these collaborations in each song are. They work perfectly in my opinion and makes the songs so much more enjoyable.

What song is currently on repeat for you at the moment?
Have you ever heard of these three songs?

I hope you all enjoyed this post and I will be back with a beauty post tomorrow.

Have a great Day!
