My Everyday Makeup- February

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my everyday Makeup routine. I had been using a bunch of new products at the beginning of January, but that was taking up too much time of my morning. I decided to create a look that I could wear everyday since I knew my time would be limited with grad school starting back up again. So here is what I came up with, hopefully you all enjoy.

I want to remind you that sometimes the basics are better than the extra fluff products we are being told to buy. This month try using some of your tried and true products and cut sometime in your beauty routine.

The product I used:

Here is what I did to achieve this look:

I absolutely love how simple yet versatile this look is and I can change the lip color when I choose to tone it down or dress it up.

What are your go to products for a quick and easy everyday makeup look?

Have a great day!

New Year’s Eve-Makeup Tutorial

Happy Saturday Everyone!

As we all gear to wrap up 2016 I wanted to post one last blog post, but I wasn’t sure what to talk about. So instead of just doing a random blog post about a topic I wasn’t too thrilled about I thought I would post a tutorial for my New Years Eve makeup look. I have to work so I kept it pretty simple, but still very chic and worthy of the New Year.

So here is what I used for this eye look:

-Laura Mercier Caviar stick Eye Color in Rose Gold

-LORAC PRO Mega 3 Palette

-Essences Eyeliner Pen

-Maybelline Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara

I hope you all enjoyed this look and that you have a happy and healthy New Year. I am so excited to see what 2017 has in store for me and this little corner of the internet.

See you all in 2017!

Have a great NYE and stay safe.

Make up Look: You’re Such a Tease

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a makeup look I created using the Tarte Glam Goodies Kit that I reviewed last Friday. You can check that out here. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone a little bit and create something a bit more dramatic than what I would normally wear.

Step One: I mixed crush and first kiss and applied it all over my lid.

Step Two: I added a soft matte brown to my crease to balance everything out. (This color is not included in the palette.)

Step Three: To deepen my outer corner even more I added heartbreaker.

Step Four: I added whisper to my brow bone and blended everything together.

Step Five: Apply your favorite mascara. I did not use the Tarte Mascara because it makes my lashes drop and a bit of smudging occurs.

Step Six: Apply the Tarteist Lip Paint in TBT.

Hope you all enjoy this makeup look!

Let me know if you want to see more makeup looks in the future?

Have a great day & I will see you on Monday!

My Simple Valentine’s Day Look

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am so excited to share with you all my Valentine’s Day Makeup. This is something I think would work for multiple activities and it can be changed up a bit depending on how bold/brave you want to be. I opted for a bright red lipstick and I love how this can something that I can wear into the office and carry it on for the rest of the day. I hope you enjoy this different step by step post to my usual ones.

Step one: Apply your favorite foundation and concealer. I love to high light my face with the concealer as well as cover up my under eye circles.

Step Two: Apply your favorite powder to ensure your make up stay in place and it last all day. Next tackle your brows if you need to. I just filled in some sparse areas.

Step Three: Curl your lashes if you want to then follow up by applying your favorite mascara. I love to define my eyes even more and apply mascara to my lower lashes as well, this step can be optional if you wish.

Step Four: Apply a red lip liner that is as close to the color of the lipstick that you own. Top off with one coat of you favorite red lipstick.

Step five: Apply a blush that is a hint more neutral rather than pink this will balance out the whole face. I like to apply my blush last to ensure that it will work with my whole face rather than regretting it after I have my lipstick on.

There you all go a step by step look at how I would wear my makeup for Valentine’s Day. What most likely is going to happen is that I am going to be at the gym and not really care what I look like that day so cheers to not having a significant other this valentine’s day.

Have a great day! I will see you on Wednesday.
