Glamourous Gold : Eye look

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you all a look I have been rocking all week. I wanted to experiment with some of the makeup I had forgotten about and this is what I came up with. This isn’t a tutorial per say, but it’s super easy to recreate.

I used a gold base from Milani to make the gold eye shadow in this Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette pop and show up true to color. Then I used a dark brown in my L’Oreal La Palette Nude 1 to define my crease and viola!

For a bit of definition in my lash line I put a bit of the black eyeshadow from Wet n’ Wild and finished up the look with my Bite Lipstick in Lingonberry.

A Simple and wearable look in just a few minutes what more can you ask for?!

Have a great Weekend! I will see you on Monday!

L’Oreal LA Palette Nude 1

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my thoughts on a new drugstore palette that has recently come out. It’s the L’Oreal LA Palette Nude 1. They also have a Nude Rose version with a lot more pinky/purple tones for those who like a bit more than what the average nude palette offers. I being a neutral lover myself stuck with colors I will always reach for, which are typical nudes.

Now hold on you maybe saying what is so special about these 10 drugstore eyeshadows we haven’t seen before?! Well nothing really just that you can now get them in a palette at most of your local drugstores. I will say that the color pay off is pretty good, not the best there is, but you can create some pretty awesome looks with this drugstore palette.

If you are a beginner this is a great palette to try out. If you don’t like too much pigmentation and like a nice moderate dusting of eyeshadow on you lids this is the palette for you. Would I say this is a must for a beauty veteran of course not. If you own any of the Urban Decay Naked Palette or any other high end brand of nude shadow palette you can skip this one.

This retails anywhere between $13.99 up to $19.99 in some stores. You get 10 shadows with 0.62 oz.

One of the reason why I love this palette is because I can create beautiful day appropriate looks without hesitating if they will work together. I love that these shadows aren’t super pigmented so I have more of a control when I apply my shadow and I get the perfect hint of a color with the right amount of pop for that day.

Have you checked out this palette yet? What are your thoughts?

Have a great day & I will see you on Friday .
