Fenty Beauty- Mattemoiselle Plush Lipstick

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am swatching the Fenty Beauty- Mattemoiselle Plush Lipstick and giving you my first impression of these lipsticks. I picked up three shades: S1ngle, Spanked and Candy Venom. Yes I purchased the most wearable shades she brought out in her collection. I knew I didn’t want to buy any colors that were just going to sit around collecting dust. At $18 each lipstick you best believe I wasn’t going to buy a shade I would only wear once.

One thing I have noticed is that these are so creamy and moisturizing. They glide on and you have instant color. One thing to be careful about is that with the rounded tip you can’t be too precise while drawing your cupids bow. I had to use a lip brush to make sure I got the sharpest application.

Overall I love how long they stayed on my lips and that the color didn’t disappear. I have been reaching for S1ngle and Spanked because they don’t dry my lips out in this cold weather. I am saving Candy Venom for Spring time.

Have you tried these lipstick? If so, what is your opinion on them?

Have a great day and I will see you on Friday!

Review: Tarteist Lip Wardrobe Duo

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am reviewing this awesome lip kit by Tarte. I picked it up a few weeks ago and I have been in love with how fitting both of the colors are for fall. Sadly this sold out online, but I did see this at my local Sephora. I’m going to take a wild guess and say that maybe a few  other  physical store may still have this kit available if you are interested in it.

This kit includes:

-Tarteist Lip Paint in Namaste

-Tarteist Glossy Lip Pain in WCW

I absolutely love how unique this lip paint is. At first the color seemed weird and I thought it wasn’t going to work with my skin tone. After trying it out I absolutely love how it looks on my lips. It’s not a every day color for me, but it’s nice to have in my collection to play around with. It doesn’t dry out my lips and it stays on for a really long time without you having to reapply.

How pretty is this lip gloss color? It just screams Fall. I love how easy it is to apply and how pigmented it is. The only downside is that it’s not long wearing and if you eat or drink anything the vibrant color is gone and you are left with a faint stain on your lips.

Overall if you are looking to try out this new range of lip products from Tarte I would highly suggest trying to track this kit down.

Spring Lips: My Favorite Lip Glosses

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing some of my favorite lip glosses that I will be obsessing over this Spring and possibly this summer. You can find all of these at your local drugstore which is a plus for all of us on a budget.

First off lets start with a very wearable apricot color that looks absolutely beautiful alone or over a nude pencil. I love wearing with minimal makeup for a very fresh look.

Second lip product that I have been obsessing is this pretty cool toned pink. This is a perfect pop of color for any dewy glory look.

Last but not least is this pinky red lip gloss that is perfect if you are going on a night out or just  want to add a pop of color to a very casual outfit.

What is your favorite Spring Lip Gloss?

Have a great day and I will see you on Monday.

e.l.f. EX-tra Lip Gloss

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I bring you another lip product post. I know I know i have been on a huge lip product kick lately, I promise more diversity in my posts I promise! I want to talk about these e.l.f EX-tra Lip Glosses I feel like I have been hiding under a rock or something. How come I have never tried these until now. I mean they are only a buck and I have been oblivious to them until a few weeks ago.

Fist off these lip glosses are so pigmented you don’t need anything under them. I really wasn’t expecting much from them, but I was very happy with the product. I will say that these have sparkly particles of glitter so if you aren’t a huge fan you may want to skip trying these out. I am not a huge fan of glitter in lip glosses but I can appreciate them every once in a while. I want to share the three colors I picked up.

Overall I don’t think you will be disappointed with the lip glosses. The price is super affordable and the color pay off is great and I am sure you could find a shade that you like.

I took a picture at the end of the day (Sorry my foundation had rubbed off. I had a long day) to show what my lips look like after wearing the berry colored lipgloss . As you can see you have quite a bit of sparkle left as stated previously.  Not really a fan of the glitter left behind!

Do you own any of these e.l.f EX-tra Lip Glosses?

I hope you have a great day and I will see you on Friday!

Viva Violet : Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush Intense Balm Review

Happy Friday Everyone!

I am so glad that it’s Friday! I have been working like crazy and have been trying to finish up my grad school applications at the same time. Not to mention that I have manged to go to the gym and get 6+ hours of sleep some days. In all honesty this week has been hard and I am so glad it’s over. Normally during weeks like this I don’t find anything that blows my mind, but this week I found a amazing lip product and color that just had me speechless.

The lip product is the Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush Intense Colour Balm in Viva Violet . This is the perfect bright purpley pink. It is bold enough to make a statement and brighten up a simple makeup look. The real surprise is how long-lasting this color was! I wore it to work and applied it at 8:30am then had breakfast at 9:30am and didn’t really bother to check on it. I figured it would be a light stain on my lips. I went to the bathroom at noon and to my surprise the lip color was still standing strong. I had a salad for lunch at 1pm and by then I was suer the lip color would have worn off completely and believe it or not some of it had, but I still had the most flattering, bright lip stain left. Most of my other lip products would have ben long gone by 9:45am and this one need to be retouched mid day which is a win in my book.

Have you ever tried any of these Rimmel Intense Balms? What is your fav. long-lasting lip product?

I hope you have a great Weekend!

See you on Monday!

Favorite Summer Lip Balms/Stains

As summer is coming to a close I wanted to give a shout out to these amazing lip products that stood by me this wonderful summer. I have noticed I don’t gravitate towards lipstick or lip glosses like I use to I am more of a lip balm stain girl and I couldn’t be happier. Here is a mixture of drugstore and high-end favorites.

Bourjois Color Boost Glossy Finish Lipstick
I picked this up when I was in London this summer and it has been one of my favorite lip colors. This can be worn sheer or built up for a strong bold lip color.

NYX Chunky Dunk Hydrating Lippie
I have never been one to gravitate towards a super bold lip particularly in the summer time I want something I can sheer out and leave be. This color is one that works just like the last one you can sheer this out for the most my lips but better look or build it up to an intense purpley-pink color that would suit a nice tan.

Rimmel Lasting Colour Rush
I am a huge fan of my these Rimmel Lip balms and this color just screams summer. This particular color is one you can throw on and it can make you look refreshed and awake especially if you keep your makeup very minimal.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain
This is the brighter cousin of the last color I am in love with. It is a hair lighter than the previous Rimmel Lip balm stain if you look at them quickly you would think they are almost the same shade but do not let you eyes be fooled!

Rimmel Lasting Colour Rush
On the day that I am not feeling wearing pink or anything bright I go for my trusty year around lip color and it’s this natural shade but better. You will most likely see this again during the fall/ winter time. It’s a staple color to own if you aren’t a pink/bright lip balm girl.

Tarte Lipsurgence Lip Tint
Last but not least is this beautiful mix of bright coral pinkness. This is my favorite one to grab when I am not feeling any of my other lip balm stains. This is the perfect color for a refreshing pick me up when you are going out during the day.

I hope you all enjoyed my summer staple lip balms stains.
What are you favorite lip products? Do you go for bright or more natural lip products?

Happy Friday Everyone!
