February Favorites 2017

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a few things I have been loving for the month of February. I feel like I blinked and this month was gone. Honestly I am not really enjoying how fast these past couple months have been going. I have so much to do before May and I am hoping that I can accomplish everything before graduation.

This month I gravitated towards a variety of different products that helped me make February very productive month. When it comes to my makeup I want a no fuss look that can be transitioned based on how I feel each day.

This Becca Mineral Blush in Flowerchild is a product that instantly adds a healthy glow to my skin and makes me seem more awake than I actually am. I apply it with this realTechniques duo-fiber brush which keeps me from applying too much.

I have returned back to my this oldie but goodie, the covergirl Lashblast volume. My lashes cannot be happier. I absolutely love how this mascara is exactly the right formula for my lashes.

So I know that if you have been following me for a while on this blog you know that I have a healthy obsession with this lip product. This It Cosmetics CC+Lip Serum in love is such a beautiful color, and it’s also very hydrating without it being too sticky.

This month I visited my local Tony Moly and picked up a few things and one of my favorite finds is this hand cream that has squirtle and I am obsessed. The formula is not sticky and soaks into your hands really quickly.

Last but not least I finally replaced my old plain black band on my Fitbit Blaze and I am absolutely in love. This gold band looks so much more professional and a lot more classier than the one the Fitbit came with.

So I have a ton of new content coming your way! I had to take a break due to school, but get ready this month will be jammed packed with so much diverse content and I hope you come back and check it out.

What are some of your favorites for this month? Anything you are dying to recommend?

Have a great day!

July Favorites 2016

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you some of my favorite beauty products for the month of July. I feel like Summer is flying by and it needs to slow down.

This Fleur De Force Palette in Lunar Rose has become a new love recently. It’s the perfect summer eye look.

This lip combo is one of my favorites this past month. I absolutely love how this NYX Lingerie Liquid lipstick in Ruffle Trim looks on me. I make sure my lips are very well hydrated with the Smith’s Minted Rose Lip Balm.

I finally tried a new mascara! I know I know I finally got rid off my Covergirl Clumpcrusher and tried something new. I am really impressed with this Essence get big lashes mascara and the price tag isn’t bad either.

Last but not least I have been loving this super natural blush that had been hiding in my collection (I picked this up two years ago while I was in London). It’s the perfect hint of pink for every day wear. Also this is not beauty related, but I just wanted to share my new love for these three crystals. They are the perfect size to keep in your purse and pull out when you need to destress or ground yourself.

What are some of your favorites for this past month?

Have a great day!

December Favorites 2015

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you all my December Favorites. This past month flew by and honestly I didn’t think I was going to have enough products to share with you all. I managed to try a few new things and I thought it was worth a mention.

As you can see I have a array of products that kept me busy in December. I ran out of a few of my holy grail products and had a few things in my drawer that I hadn’t had a chance to use so here they are.

The blushed Nudes by Maybelline

This palette has been in my collection for a while and every now and again it makes a appearance in my daily routine. I love the gold and blushed tones this palette has. On the plus side it’s also affordable and accessible.

The Too Faced Brow Envy Brow Shaping & Defining Kit

This was one of those product that replaced a holy grail item in my collection. I ran out of my Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil and needed something for my brows and I had this in my collection untouched. Needless to say that this has been a unique brow palette that I have been enjoying using.

Essie’s Summit Of Style and All Eyes On Nudes Nail Polish

These two have been on my nails pretty much all month. I absolutely love them paired together. I love how classy and effortless they look together.

Origins Clear Improvement Mask & Kat Von D Ink Liner

These two mini’s have been so much fun to try out this past month! I had stopped using masks due to not having enough time in my schedule, but when the semester finished I decided I needed to pamper my skin. So far I love this mask it’s not drying or irritating. This liner was such a nice little surprise. I had stopped using liquid liners because I hated how they rubbed off and never lasted until the end of the day. That changed once i tried this liner.

NEST INDIGO Parfum & Dove Deodorant

I love smelling clean and fresh and these two products are my go to for accomplishing that mission. I absolutely recommend the Nest perfumes they are amazing and last all day.

I hope you all enjoyed my December Favorites! Thank you for sticking with me on my 16 days of January. I am enjoying posting regularly and I hope you do too!

What are your favorite products for December?

See you all in two days!

September Favorites 2015

Happy Monday Everyone!

This month has flown by and I can’t believe that it’s October already! I am excited for all of the Fall activities and all of the blog post I have in store for all of you. Now let’s talk about a few of my favorites shall we!

Being a in grad school I have had to multi-task and have had to do a lot more reading. I purchased this iPad Mini and I have used it every single day since. Best purchase i could have made that involves school.

The other day I was in Walmart and I discovered my favorite Chef from the Food Network, The pioneer woman Ree Drummond came out with a cookware line. I grabbed a few things because how could i pass up this Mason Jar and her tea cups?! That would have been a crime!

This month I have been using my Zoella Beauty body lotion because it smells amazing and it my skin has been getting dryer as the season change.

For beauty this month I’ve kept it pretty low key. I’m sure october will change that! I have been obsessed with my E.L.F Blush Palette in Light it has the perfect colors for the start of Autumn. The same goes for my lips I have been gravitating towards this beautiful nude color from Kat Von D in Lolita.

To conclude my favorites I want to talk about tea tree oil. I have been using this as a spot treatment on my acne spots and it has helped diminish the redness and the spread of the pesky bacteria that cause acne.

What are some of your favorite products this month?!

I hope you all have a great start to your week! I will see you on Friday with a yummy recipe.

August Favorites 2015

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

I can’t believe it’s September 1st already?! Where did summer go? Can I just get a few more days of August? Can summer please stay a little bit longer and not leave. Don’t get me wrong I love Fall it’s Winter I am not ready to see again.

As I settle into my first week of classes I wanted to start things on a positive note. I want to talk about a few of my favorite things that got me through this past month. I can’t believe I moved two hours away from my hometown and that I am starting grad school. It’s a bit surreal but definitely worth it in the end!

Let’s talk about how I had to downsize beds and now I sleep on a Twin?! The perks of living in a small apartment in a bigger city. the plus size I found this cute bed spread to match my theme in my room.

Coffee! I gave up on drinking coffee the last three weeks before I left to save myself from just binging on this stuff. Now that I have a coffee maker I enjoy drinking freshly brewed coffee every day.

Sticking to the food theme that ruled my world this past month I want to share my new love. These 18 rabbits jr. granola bars are amazing!

I can’t forget to mention my favorite yogurts! These are my newest addiction since these are a bit rare back in Harrisonburg. I am stalking up on these bad boys.

The only makeup product that I felt was worth a mention is this beauty of a lipstick! This YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick is such a beautiful color – 62K801 (what a name am I right?). It’s the perfect color for my skin tone right now!

The last and final favorite is my obsession with fall hand soaps from Bath and Body Works! They released these extra early and I snatched way to many to admit. This one is a perfect start to my fall addiction.

Hope you all enjoy my August favorites! Nothing super exciting, but I am excited to start this month on such a great note. I am just really looking forward to getting into a routine and start kicking butt in grad school.

What are some of you favorite products for the month of August? Anything you would recommend?

Have a great day & I will see you on Thursday.

& Just like that everything changed.

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

This month is a very hectic month for me. I am starting to feel the stress of moving out and getting everything under control as best as I can. I have so many more things I have to do and yet not enough time to do them. I am still trying to balance my life while packing away everything I will need for this new chapter of my life.

Change has never been something I enjoy! As a little kid we moved twice and I had to start over and make new friends in two different occasions. Once we settled in VA I decide I wanted to stay for a while until I had no other option than to move. in comes furthering my education and BAM I’m moving 2.25 hours away into a big city that scares me.

I just wanted to share a few thought that have been going through my head recently and of course I always like to look at the bright side so here are a few things I have been loving!

Iced Coffee

This cute dog

Some beauty bits

Target Sandals

Normally I post three times a week and I will start scaling that down to two post a week due to all of the transitions I am doing. So instead of seeing you on Friday I will see you on Monday!

Have a great rest of your week and I will see you next Monday!

I can’t believe August is just around the corner!!! July has definitely been a busy month for me, but I know August will be even more crazy and hectic. So many awesome things are happening this upcoming month and I am a bit scared yet looking forward to the changes! With that being said today I wanted to share some of the things I have been loving this past month.

For makeup this month I have kept things very simple and these have been the products I have been loving for a every day look.

-Maybelline Instant Age Rewind

-Tarte Blush in Thankful

-L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Powder

For skincare I have kept it super simple nothing crazy! Summer really does a number on my skin and the less I put on my face the better my oily skin does.

-First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream

-CeraVe Eye Repair Cream

Last but not least are two items that I was very impressed with. I picked both of these items on sale and wasn’t expecting much from them, but surprisingly I really enjoy them.

-Milani Color Statement -Gilded Rocks

Over all this month was very good to me beauty wise and I love that this upcoming month I will have multiple opportunities to get dressed up and play around with more of my makeup.
