DIY Deadpool Themed Jean Jacket

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a really awesome DIY project I had been working on for the new release of Deadpool 2. I really wanted to wear something that showed my love for Deadpool, but not dress up in costume. I compromised on this jean jacket and at the end of it all I had such a great time watching Deadpool 2.

IMG_0529Step One:

Use a jacket you already have, or find one at the thrift store or at your local retail store that maybe on clearance. I wanted to add more texture to my jacket and decide to spray paint it and sponge on some white paint all over it (this step can be optional).

Step two:

Buy a assortment of iron on patches and place them in the areas you feel work best with the jacket. I also purchased iron on letters and numbers to add Deadpool’s last name and the year the comic was created.

Step Three:

Follow the directions on each of the patches and apply heat. You can also use fabric glue to apply the patches if you don’t own a iron.

(Optional) Step Four:

My iron on letters had me peel off the plastic bit off of them to complete my look.

The finished product!

This DIY was so much fun to create and I am so excited to try to create more wearable DIY’s in the future. I hope you all enjoyed.

Are any of you Deadpool fans? How about any other superhero?

Have a great weekend!

Affordable Jewelry Haul

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with a few pieces of jewelry that I recently purchased. As you all know I try and stick to a budget when it comes to the new jewelry I add to my collection. I already own plenty of expensive statement pieces and I don’t need to add any more of those to my collection. But let’s be honest trends come and go and you may gravitate towards a particular trend this season, but not want to spend to much on it since it will be temporary most likely.

I realized that Walmart has some amazing trendy affordable pieces that I couldn’t pass up. I would suggest you go personally to your Walmart and see what they carry, if you can’t here is the link to all of their fashion necklaces.

Can you believe that the necklace sets were $10, the first necklace was only $5, and the last pair of earrings were $3. I am in love with these new additions. They will come in handy for wedding and birthday season.

Where is your favorite place to buy affordable jewelry?

Have a great day and I will see you on Wednesday.

Stay chic!

July Fashion Favorites 2017

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my fashion favorites. This is something new that I am hoping to make a regular thing on my blog. So please let me know what you think?

I have been loving this bralette and how comfortable and stylish this is. It has extra straps that are unique when paired with a V-neck blouse.

I am obsessed with these flats. These are unique and look so professional and surprisingly comfortable. They add a bit of a stylish flair to all my outfits.

The second pair of shoes are more comfortable and they have become a staple in my outfits. I got these on sale for $20 at I absolutely love them.

I absolutely love this necklace and it has definitely has added so much to every single outfit. I love that it has so much versatility and that I can pair it with so many outfits.

Last but not least are these two pairs of earrings. I have been loving the minimal style that these pair of earrings bring to my day to day life, and they add a little something to a more dressy outfits without being too flashy.

I hope you all enjoy this blog post. It’s a bit different and I am excited to bring you all more things that involve fashion. Maybe even some Outfits of the day!

What were some of your favorite fashion favorites this past month anything you would recommend I check out?

Thank you for stopping by and I will see you tomorrow.

My Adult Hand Bag

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a big adult purchase I recently made and I am a bit scared. I normally don’t spend my money just to spend it and I recently took the plunge and bought a really nice Hand Bag. I want to welcome my new Coach bag to my chaotic life.  I am beyond excited to transition my life from student to professional and this bag was exactly what I needed.

I don’t want you all to think I am showing off by me writing this blog post, but as many of you know this blog documents my life, my accomplishment and my failures and this is such a huge step for me.

I hope you all enjoy the pictures of this beauty.

Have a great Wednesday!

Fall Wishlist 2016

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a few things I have been lusting over. I sporadically do these kinds of post because I find them entertaining. I love seeing what people are wishing they could buy. Hopefully you enjoy these as well and find something you can start to lust over as well.

Hooded Longline Coat // Dark Grey Sweater

There is just something about layering pieces like these two that just screams fall. I’ve recently been playing with layering longer jackets with comfortable pieces in my closet and I noticed I don’t have any grey sweaters, that needs to be fixed ASAP.

Sequin Embellished Surplice Dress // Contemporary Marled Combo Dress

I know when we think of Fall we don’t necessarily think of dresses, but I fell in love with both of these dresses. The first one is perfect for holiday parties and I just can’t help to plan ahead. The second one is just simple and can be paired with tights and booties for a super cute outfit.

Floral Chandelier Earrings // Ankle Booties

Last But not least are these two pieces. I know I don’t need any more earrings, but I love how simple and cute these earrings are. These boots are also not a need, but I don’t own any wine colored booties and these would definitely be a great addition to my shoe collection.

I hope you all liked my current wish list and that this inspires you to form your own wish list for the up coming holidays!

Have a great day!

Things I am loving this Spring

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a few things I have been loving this Spring. When the weather changes I try and pick a few things that make me happy and I try and incorporate them into my daily routine. These can be anything from Makeup to fashion items. Here are the things that I have been rocking this spring.

Sometimes you have to go back to a oldie but a goodie and that’s exactly what these sandals are. I molded them last Spring and Summer to my feet and when the weather started getting warmer I jumped at the idea of wearing them again. I picked these up at Target last season.

A bright pop of color is always a must when we think about the seasons changing! This clutch/ cross body embodies everything I want Spring to be. My mom picked this up for me on one of her many flee market outings.

This Milani Palette is just the right amount of color that my face can handle right now. Normally I try and slowly incorporate more color into my looks and this palette keeps my favorite variety of neutrals with enough color for me to play with.

Last but not least is this Essence Lipstick from their new summer line. I love how bright this is, but the cool thing is that you can apply a light layer if you just dab it on your lips. This is a lipstick that will be used all throughout the summer as well.

What are your Spring Favorites? Have you tried o the products that I mentioned?

Have a great day and I will see you on Friday!

On a Budget: Earrings

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you all three earrings that I am in love with and you will never believe how much they cost and where I picked them up.

As you can see from the picture above I picked these up at Walmart and paid less than $3 for them. I know I know you could never tell from the first picture I shared with you all. Now I don’t normally shop at Walmart for my Jewelry, but every once in a while I find a few pieces that are too good to be true.
