Empties + I hit pan on – Beauty Products

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am excited to share with you all some beauty product that I have finished up + some that I have hit pan on, yay! As you all know my goal is to use up any product that I purchase. That is not the case for every product in my beauty collection. I thought I would share this historic moment with everyone I finished three products, plus hit pan on four products.

I am hoping to keep this momentum going and will make this a series on the blog if you all enjoy knowing what products I finish up.

First up are the products I managed to completely finish. I finished two concealers and a mini dry shampoo. I have been tackling quite a few face products because they have gotten out of control. I definitely need to stop buying concealers I have way too many.

These are all the products that I hit pan on and I am so excited because I normally don’t stick to one product long enough to see the pan. I’m crossing my fingers that these will soon be finished so I can start tackling other products in my makeup collection.

What are some products that you are working on finishing up? Do you get just as excited as I do when you finish a makeup product?

Have a great day and I will see you on Friday.

Empties #2

It feels like forever since I wrote my Empties #1 post. When I wrote it I didn’t think that I was actually going to keep up with using up all of the products I had in mind. Well I feel very proud that I did manage to stick to it and used up quite a few number of products again.

Impressive amount huh? I feel like I have enough momentum to keep going and declutter my makeup/beauty collection.

Let’s start off by going through the big products I managed to finally run out of. The Vaseline Cocoa butter seemed like a bottomless pit of lotion. I finally ran out last Wednesday and I was a bit sad about that. I guess when you get use to having something you tend to miss it after it is gone. The next product is my Michael Todd Moisture Elite Non-oily hydrating lotion. I can’t say that I am going to really miss this one, it is an okay moisturizer. Lastly I used up another The righteous butter from Soap and Glory, no explanation needed.

Here are the smaller products that used up. I used up another one of the Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration day lotion. I think I might end up buying a the full size. I finally used up a small pot of Erase Paste by Benefit and boy did this last me a while. I finished the Ole Henriksen truth serum collagen booster and I didn’t see anything new with my skin so I will be skipping out on that. Last but not least I finished another Burt’s Bees lip balm.

Whew! That was a lot. I still have 6-7 more products I am slowly chipping away at and hopefully by the time I leave for France I can get of them and make room for new stuff.

Have you done a beauty purging lately? Finished any products that have been living in your vanity for like EVER?

Have a happy Friday!

Empties #1

Sorry I was absent this Monday I needed a day to compose myself and get my final graduate school application done! With that out-of-the-way I wanted to share with you some of the products I used up. I love that feeling I get when I finish a product that I have had for so long. I always find these post interesting, so I figured it was about time I posted one.

1- Aussie 3 minute miracle leave in conditioner. I absolutely love what this does to my hair and I will be repurchasing this product.
2- Soap and Glory Scrub of Your life. Hands down one of the most moisturizing scrubs I have tried. This has a pleasant smell and leaves your skin super soft.
3-E.L.f Clear Mascara. I used this to set my brows in place and for a $1 it’s a really good inexpensive product.
4-Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration day lotion. I love this for a night cream because it’s thick and moisturizing and does not leave a you feeling greasy or oily.
5- Lancome La Base primer. I received this in a Birchbox and had this for a while before I started using this. I really liked this primer but it’s nothing extra special compared to any of the drugstore ones that we can find now.
6-Sugar Lip balm. I absolutely loved how soft this lip balm made my lips feel. If it wasn’t for the price tag I would repurchase it (maybe for my birthday?)

I want to make this a regular post maybe every month I will let you all know all of the things I have used up to hold me accountable in using what I have. I know that I have way more beauty products than I actually will use so why not you all help me be accountable to use what I have.

What have you used up lately? Have you tried anything that I’ve mentioned in this post?
Have a great Wednesday!
