Happy Wednesday Everyone!

These are the products I used (pictured above).

The final Look! I absolutely how well these colors compliment my eye color.

Have you tried this Wet n Wild Palette? What is your go to Makeup Look for the days you want to feel like a rockstar?

Review: L’OREAL Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my thought on a drugstore foundation that I was gifted by one of my lovely friends. To be honest I didn’t pay much attention to this foundation when it first came out. It may have been the fact that it said glow in the packaging and may have put me off from even considering it. As you all know I have super oily skin. Like disco ball shiny skin a few hours after I apply my make up. I try and stay away from using too much highlighter and try and keep my skin as matte as possible letting the oils from my skin be the dewiness everyone else sees through out the first few hours.

I wanted to share what they say this foundation will do for you and then talk about my experience:

-All-day glow

     -Up to 24 HR foundation

Discover the new pro finish of longwear: up to 24 hour wear with a hydrating glow. Lightweight and creamy, this long lasting foundation goes on smooth with a glow finish that lasts. With medium coverage, it instantly hides imperfections for a clear complexion. The hydrating foundation with SPF is ideal for normal to dry skin.

So honestly I have a love hate relationship with this foundation. I absolutely love how it looks on my face the first hour I have it on. After that it just doesn’t look right, partially because of how oily my skin is. I blot my face quite frequently and then the foundation just looks dull and matte. I have also noticed that half way through the day it rubs off on my nose and on my chin. More often than not if I am home and have to leave again in the afternoon I will reapply more foundation on my nose and chin and sometimes on my forehead. Everywhere else my foundation stays put.

If you have oily skin I would suggest you pass on this foundation. It’s too much of a gamble to waste $12-$15 on when you can find better foundations that will work with your skin type.

Have you tried this foundation? What are you thoughts on it?

Have a great day!

L.A Colors: Color Last Nail Polish Review

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am reviewing the new L.A Colors Color Last Nail Polish in Keepsake. I was picking up a few things from the drugstore and I found that L.A Color had brought out a new line of nail polishes and I was curious. I limited my shopping to one particular color since I have most of the other shades in the line.

The color is a beautiful brighter pastel orange and I love how it looks in the bottle.

My first impression of this product is that for the $1.98 I paid for it gave me exactly that. This polish has a huge brush and it makes it really hard to stay within your nail bed. I had to clean around my nail more than with any other polish I own. The other things I hated is that when I applied the second coat the polish went on streaky and clumpy. I had to make sure the brush was loaded with polish to avoid uneven polish strokes.

I can’t attest to the 10 day wear, but I will keep you all posted if it miraculously does stay on for 10 days.

Have you tried this new polish line out? Any drugstore polish line you recommend?

I hope you have a great day!

June Favotites 2016

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my favorite products for the month of June. I know I’m a bit late but I didn’t want to skip sharing with you some of the things I had been loving last month.

I don’t have that many exciting things to share but I had to share the new earrings I picked up and I figured this would be the best way to do so.

I picked these bad boys up at Nordstrom Rack and they are from Bauble Bar. They were 50% off the regular price that Bauble Bar sold them for and I figured I couldn’t pass that up.

I stuck to my same old makeup routine but added a new lip balm to my routine since my air conditioner keeps drying out my lips. I am still madly in love with the e.l.f illuminating eye cream it’s just a super hydrating eye cream and super affordable.

I was feeling the nude nail trend this month and my go to for that is Essie’s All eyes on nudes from their cashmere matte collection.

Last but not least I tried to keep my eye shadow very minimal and for that I love using the Wet n Wild shade in Nutty. It’s absolutely beautiful and creates a beautiful depth on my eyes that I can’t resist.

What were some of your June favorites? Any new products you would recommend?

Have a great day!

Wet n Wild Ultimatebrow Mascara

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a new product that I started using in hopes of cutting more time off of my beauty routine. Honestly I was very skeptical about these kinds of brow products because I figured they wouldn’t do much to my brows.

As you can see my brows are so spars and need a bit of filling in to actually stand out.

Here is what one filled in brow looks like versus my natural brows.

Overall I think that my brows look so much better after I applied this ultimate brow mascara. They aren’t as precisely defined as I would love for them to be, but for a quick and lazy day this product really help to shape my face.

Have you tried a similar product? Would you recommend a different brand?

Have a great day and I will see you on Wednesday.

May Favorites

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my favorites for the month of may. I have some new products that I have been absolutely loving and it’s time that I shared them with you all. I’m always excited to share with you all new products that I absolutely cannot live with out currently.

First off you all know how much I love this palette already. I have a make up look coming using this palette.

I have been obsessing over Tarte cosmetics recently and it’s no surprise that I would have a new favorite blush to rave about.

This mini lip paint came in the same kit as the Tarte Tease Palette. I love how long this wears and how it makes a statement without it being a bright color.

I have recently started wearing more liquid eyeliner and I found this waterproof eyeliner pen at Ulta a few weeks ago and I couldn’t believe how affordable and how pigmented this actually is.

I have a full review and demo coming for this product, but all I can say it exceeded my expectations.

Last but not least are these earrings I picked up from Icing and I absolutely love how classic they look and I only payed $5 for them.

I hope you all enjoyed my favorites for this month and that you all discovered some new products that may interest you.

What are some of your favorite products for this past month?

Have a great day and I will see you on Wednesday.
