Wakeup and Makeup Beauty Box

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you all a new beauty box from Target. This particular box was available at the actual store They had a side display with four different variations of the “beauty” box. I picked up two the Wakeup and Makeup and the Be(You)tiful box. Each one retails for $7.00 and comes full of awesome goodies.

What the beauty box includes:

Sonia Kashuk Brush Cleaning Wipe

e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Blending Brush

e.l.f. beautifully Bare Face Palette

Dove Dry Spray Invisible Sheer Fresh

Dove Dry Shampoo-coconut

Covergirl Peacock Flare Mascara

Honest Beauty Refreshingly Clean Makeup Remover Wipes

Overall you can’t beat the price that these boxes retail for. It’s like buying one of the full size products and getting the rest of the box for free. I love that Target has made these available for those of us that like to try new products, but don’t have the money to spend on full size beauty products.

What do you all think of these beauty boxes? Do you like that you can pick these beauty boxes up at your local Target instead of a monthly subscription?

Have a great weekend see you on Monday!

February Favorites 2017

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a few things I have been loving for the month of February. I feel like I blinked and this month was gone. Honestly I am not really enjoying how fast these past couple months have been going. I have so much to do before May and I am hoping that I can accomplish everything before graduation.

This month I gravitated towards a variety of different products that helped me make February very productive month. When it comes to my makeup I want a no fuss look that can be transitioned based on how I feel each day.

This Becca Mineral Blush in Flowerchild is a product that instantly adds a healthy glow to my skin and makes me seem more awake than I actually am. I apply it with this realTechniques duo-fiber brush which keeps me from applying too much.

I have returned back to my this oldie but goodie, the covergirl Lashblast volume. My lashes cannot be happier. I absolutely love how this mascara is exactly the right formula for my lashes.

So I know that if you have been following me for a while on this blog you know that I have a healthy obsession with this lip product. This It Cosmetics CC+Lip Serum in love is such a beautiful color, and it’s also very hydrating without it being too sticky.

This month I visited my local Tony Moly and picked up a few things and one of my favorite finds is this hand cream that has squirtle and I am obsessed. The formula is not sticky and soaks into your hands really quickly.

Last but not least I finally replaced my old plain black band on my Fitbit Blaze and I am absolutely in love. This gold band looks so much more professional and a lot more classier than the one the Fitbit came with.

So I have a ton of new content coming your way! I had to take a break due to school, but get ready this month will be jammed packed with so much diverse content and I hope you come back and check it out.

What are some of your favorites for this month? Anything you are dying to recommend?

Have a great day!

Covergirl Trunaked Nudes Palette

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing my thoughts on the Covergirl trunaked nudes palette. I have had this palette for about two months now and I feel like I have been able to test this out and see how it performs. The color on this palette are versatile and perfect for daytime wear as well as a night time look. This retails for $9.99-$10.99 depending on where you buy it.

I have used most of the shadows in this palette and I can say that they do produce fall out, but are pigmented. I did realize that I had to continue applying more of the dark shadows to build up the color. Especially if you are using them as liners or are applying them under the eyes.

Overall this is a a great palette and is very affordable if you want to add new more makeup to your collection. I highly recommend this for anyone that is a beginner to the makeup world. If you have a decent collection of eye shadows I would recommend that you check it out, but decide for yourself if it’s worth adding to your current collection.

Do you own any this palette or the other versions that Covergirl has brought out?

Have a great day!

Review: Covergirl Plumpify Mascara

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am reviewing a new mascara that I picked up at the drugstore a week ago. I had high hopes for this one since it’s made by Covergirl and I love their Full Lash Bloom mascara which I absolutely love. So here is how it performed.

What they say this mascara will do:

This volumizing mascara has a specialized, double-action brush that vertically lifts lashes from their roots, guaranteeing plumping without the clumping.

You can find this in three different shades: Black, BlackBrown and Very Black.

This retails for about $10.50 USD.

My natural lashes.

Left lashes with mascara and right lashes with no mascara on.

I think this mascara is really good for my lashes. Some how the brush works beautifully at applying the right amount of product without making them look spidery long or clumpy.I have found that this mascara hold a curl very well which is a plus.

I always buy my mascara’s in the water proof version if they have them and I haven’t had any issue with it budging off or smearing. The removal of the mascara is very easy and I find that i don’t have to tug at my lashes to remove it.

Overall if you stumble across this mascara you may want to give it a try.

Have you tried this mascara yet? What are your thoughts?

Have a great day!

A Small Beauty Haul

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a few goodies I picked up while I was out and about shopping this weekend. These products will be reviewed on the blog real soon, well when I get to test them out properly. As I walked the aisle of the drugstore I saw that they beauty companies have launched a few new things and I am excited to try a few of them out.

Let me know what other things you want me to try & review on the blog?

Have a great day!

March Favorites 2015

Happy Monday Everyone!

I can’t believe March is almost gone?! Where did this month go? I can’t believe April is a day away and that soon the warmer weather will be here to stay. This month has been crazy weather wise and also crazy interns of my life and all of the things i have been doing. I am so glad that this month turn it’s self around from all the snow we received and all of the crazy things I had to deal with. Here is to a much more smoother month of April with lots of sunshine and warmer temperatures!

Enough chitter chatter let get on to some of my favorite discoveries and favorite product for this month.

The first thing I discovered was a new primer that seriously is great for oily skin. It’s not a miracle worker and will get rid of your oily skin, but it will make your make up last longer and will keep shine at bay for longer than any primer I have ever used. This Hard Candy Sheer Envy Primer [Shine Free] is very light weight and is a amazing base for foundation.

The second thing I discovered is this new mascara it is the Covergirl Full Lash Bloom waterproof mascara in very black. The key here is the waterproof formula I have started using waterproof and I am never going back! Also this is a great mascara that hold a curl on my very hard to curl lashes and this makes me oh so happy. If you want to see a full review on this mascara check my post here.

The third discovery is the Rimmel Match Perfection skin tone adapting concealer. After my other concealer ran out I was on the hunt for another affordable concealer that would brighten and cover my under eyes. This one has been amazing at doing just that and it is very similar to my Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer.

I have fallen back in love with the Milani Shadow Eyez 12 hr wear eyeshadow. This product is amazing as a base or if you just want to wear it alone. I have been keeping my makeup very simple and I love that this product allows me to control where I apply the shimmer and I can apply another powder shadow on top to mold it in to different looks.

Just like last month I have continued to use the same blush. This Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush in true love has really taken the spotlight away from any blushes I own. It’s just so versatile and easy to wear. I might have to remind myself that there are other blushes in the sea.

Last but not least I have been loving my ecotools angled eyeliner brush. This brush has been helping me achieve a precise line with a black powder shadow. Like I said life has been crazy and I don’t have time to mess with liquid or gel eyeliner and this gives me the ability to apply eyeliner in a easy and quick way.

I hope you all enjoyed this months favorites and that you all had a great month of March.

Any monthly favorites you would recommend?

See you all on Wednesday!

My New Favorite Mascara: Covergirl Full Lash Bloom

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I wanted to share my new favorite mascara with you all. I never though I would be the kind of person that struggled with my lashes holding a curl. A couple of years I noticed that my lashes would droop after less than 30 minutes of them being curled and the mascara application. I was not happy with what was going on I tried curling them two and three times prior to applying my mascara and nothing. I switched mascara hoping it would solve the issue well five… seven … ten mascara later nothing.

I am pleased to say that this problem has been solved by this beauty of a mascara. Yes it’s waterproof and I am in love. I love everything from the cute pink packaging to the brush and the results it gives my lashes. You may ask yourself why hadn’t I tried waterproof formulas before well they often times irritate my eyes and I didn’t want to deal with that.

No Macara on my lashes.

With one coat of mascara.

The finished look with one coat of mascara. I believe I have the one mascara that gives me everything I want from my lashes.

Have you tried this mascara? Any waterproof mascaras you would recommend for me to try?
