Kylie Jenner’s 21st Birthday Makeup Collection

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing a first impression on the Kylie Cosmetics 21st Birthday makeup collection she launched in August. I had never felt inclined to purchase a collection from her because I felt like the products weren’t something I would wear. When I looked up to see what all the fuzz was about with this new makeup collection I actually saw myself wearing the products, shocker. I ordered one of her bundles and waited patiently.

The Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner Birthday Collection Bundle includes:

Birthday Collection Pressed Powder Palette

Birthday Collection Rager Lipstick

Birthday Collection 6 pc. Mini Lip Set

Birthday Collection Twenty One Matte Lip Kit

Birthday Collection Eat Cake Glitter Eyes

Birthday Collection Champagne Showers Highlighter

Birthday Collection Cosmetic Bag

I am excited to try these new goodies out and create different fall inspired looks for you all. I am really excited about all of the liquid lipsticks that are going to transition perfectly for the Fall weather.

Do you own any Kylie Jenner Cosmetics? If so, what is your favorite product of hers?

Have a wonderful weekend!

e.l.f Shimmering Highlight Powder -Starlight Glow

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing a first impression on this e.l.f. Shimmering Highlight Powder in Starlight Glow. I have been trying to branch out from all of my high-end highlighters and give some drugstore brands a try. Off the bat I had heard some pretty good things about the e.l.f highlighters. The price is very affordable ($6) for what you are getting and I wanted to see for myself what all this talk was about.

What e.l.f states about this highlight: This lightweight, versatile pressed shimmer highlighting powder helps amplify your natural radiance with a refined glow. Microfine particles blur lines to create a soft focus effect on the skin. Designed to highlight and reflect light for a luminous, photo-ready finish.

They have 7 other shades available in this same formula, you can shop them here. Overall I like that I can build this highlight up as much as I want and can wear it on a every day basis without feeling like I look like a disco ball.

I am really curious to check out the other shades that they have available for this bronzer. I definitely see this bronzer staying in my makeup routine for a little while longer.

Have you tried this particular bronzer? Any drugstore highlighters you recommend I should try?

Have a great day!

Profusion 6 Color Blush Palette

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today am so excited to share with you all this super affordable blush palette that I picked up at Target. It has 6 versatile colors for every day use and the best part that it’s only $4.99! Honestly, I have found that I sometimes you don’t get the best quality for $5, but this palette was a real gem of a find in my opinion. Now let me be clear you aren’t going to get blushes that are so pigmented that you are intimidated to even look at the palette for fear of applying to much.

These blushes are build-able and are perfect for beginners, intermediates if you are a pro you probably have other blushes that you would much rather use. I love that Target has started to carry more affordable brands that actually work and aren’t crappy products.

Have you used this brand before? What is your go to affordable blush palette?

Have a great Weekend! I will see you on Monday.

My Glamorous Everyday Make-Up Routine

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my almost every day glamorous makeup look. On most  days I have been trying to put more effort into my eye look. Especially those days I know I have meetings scheduled and I need that extra confidence. Again, I don’t do this every single day I do tone it down if I don’t feel like being this glam at the office. But this past month I have been wearing this look 3 out of the 5 days of the week.

What I used:

Profusion Mixed Metals Eyeshadow Palette

Becca Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme Foundation

Anastasia Amrezy Highlight

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Primer

Anastasia Liquid Lipstick in Hudson

Directions for the Eye Look:

One: Place Adventurous on the crease.

Two: Place Rust on the 2/3 of the outer corner of your eye lid.

Three: Use Devious to darken you crease and blend the look together

Four: If you wish add a touch of Risky to the outer crease for a darker look.

Five: Apply your favorite highlighter on the inner corner of your eye.  You can also use any of the shimmering shades this palette has to offer.

Have you tried any of the any of the Profusion Makeup Products? I just recently discovered them at Target this past holiday season. I am highly impressed by the pigmentation and the wear of this palette.

I hope you all enjoyed this eye look!

See you all on Friday.

E.L.F Liquid Matte Lipsticks

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my thoughts on E.L.F’s Liquid Lipsticks. I had heard that these had been out for a while, but I could not find them anywhere in my area. I am also an inpatient person and didn’t want to wait until all of the shades I liked were back in stock.

These retail for $5 and come in 11 shades. You get Net 0.10 fl. oz. (3 mL) in each tube. I picked up the following shades: Blushing Rose, Tea Rose and Praline. You can purchase the whole shade range here.

Here is what E.L.F claims this liquid lipstick can do:

This Liquid Matte Lipstick achieves a long lasting, gorgeous matte finish. The formula is enriched with Vitamin E to help nourish and condition the lips. The slim, diamond shaped applicator gives you flawless application in just one stroke!

Overall I think these are great lip products if you are on a budget and want to try out the liquid lipstick craze. I don’t thinks these are very long lasting. If you eat and drink, these will wear off and leave your lips needing a touch up. If you are looking for something that will wear more evenly throughout the day and don’t mind spending a bit more money try the Tarte or Smashbox liquid lipsticks.

Have you tried these e.l.f Liquid Matte Lipsticks before? If so, what are your thoughts?

What is your go to liquid lipstick?

Have a great day! I will see you on Friday!

Fenty Beauty- Mattemoiselle Plush Lipstick

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am swatching the Fenty Beauty- Mattemoiselle Plush Lipstick and giving you my first impression of these lipsticks. I picked up three shades: S1ngle, Spanked and Candy Venom. Yes I purchased the most wearable shades she brought out in her collection. I knew I didn’t want to buy any colors that were just going to sit around collecting dust. At $18 each lipstick you best believe I wasn’t going to buy a shade I would only wear once.

One thing I have noticed is that these are so creamy and moisturizing. They glide on and you have instant color. One thing to be careful about is that with the rounded tip you can’t be too precise while drawing your cupids bow. I had to use a lip brush to make sure I got the sharpest application.

Overall I love how long they stayed on my lips and that the color didn’t disappear. I have been reaching for S1ngle and Spanked because they don’t dry my lips out in this cold weather. I am saving Candy Venom for Spring time.

Have you tried these lipstick? If so, what is your opinion on them?

Have a great day and I will see you on Friday!
