April Beauty Favorites 2018

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my April favorites. I am excited that the warm weather is one step closer here in Northern Virginia. As you can see a few of my favorite things have that warm weather in mind.

This month I was on a liquid lip kick and I am so excited about the new additions I have added to my makeup collection. They are definitely going to be a staple for the Summer months.

First off let me tell you about a new brush set collection that I picked up off a random app. I will be doing a full review on these + a giveaway. These brushes are too good to not gift them to one of my readers.

I finally switched up my concealers to something much more friendly to my wallet. Both of these drugstore concealers are the perfect mix to give me that “I slept 9+ hours last night” look. They aren’t drying or overly hydrating where they cause creasing.

I hit pan on my beloved Tarte bronzer and I needed to find a cheaper alternative. I stumbled upon this face powder from Black Radiance and it gives me that beautiful natural bronzy look without breaking the bank. The only down side is that you get so much fall out from this product.

I am obsessed with liquid lipsticks! I have already reviewed the Palladio X Case Holmes collection, which you can check out here. I will be reviewing the Jordana Sweet Cream Matte collection in the next week or so, but all I can say is that it is my new current favorite.

Last but not least it’s this intensive foot mask that was much needed. I don’t really have time to pamper myself, but I try and take at least 20 minutes twice a day to do something nice for myself. This month that has been a foot mask + a face mask simultaneously and a episode of my favorite TV show Cloud Nine.

What are some of your April Beauty Favorites? Anything in particular you suggest me trying out?

Have a great day and I will see you on Wednesday.

March Favorites 2018

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my March Favorites. I have been testing quite a few new products and I am excited to share them with you. I feel like this month I had such a good routine going when it came to my skincare and makeup. I am really excited for spring to hopefully make an appearance this April. Is that too much to ask for a little bit of warm weather?

As you will see I have been trying out a few new products that are natural and good for your skin. They come from this small shop in Harrisonburg, VA. You can check them here if you want to learn more.

I’m currently trying out two new different makeup products from with simplicity and I have been enjoying the new additions to my makeup routine. I picked up their dry or wet eye shadow product in Latte and their mineral matte foundation.

I finally got around to painting my nails and picking up a new perfume which you can read more about here. I returned to my tried and true mascara from Maybelline the Colossal Volume’ Express Cat Eye edition. The last and final product that completely blew me away this month was the Black Radiance Perfect Tone Matte Lip Creme in Berry Naked.

Like I mentioned earlier I have been killing it with my skincare routine this month and I owe all of that to my new face wash from with simplicity. I also picked up the boscia no pores no shine T-zone treatment that has been helping me keep my T-zone shine free throughout the day. Last but not least I have been taking my eye makeup off with the Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads these have been part of my routine for quite some time.

I hope you all enjoyed my March favorites and that you all have a great start to April. I’m excited to see what new adventures and things I discover this upcoming month.

What were some of your favorite products for March? Anything you would recommend me try out?

Have a great Friday! See you all on Monday.

2017 Beauty Favorites

Happy Monday Everyone!

Happy 2018, I can’t believe that 2017 has come to a close and that we are starting a new year once again. I am excited for the plans I have for this year. I am also excited to see how my makeup routine evolves as this year goes on. In the last 12 months I have fallen in love with red lips, illuminated skin and glittery eye looks. I can honestly tell you that will not be the case come 2018. As humans we tend to switch things up based on where we are in life and how we want to feel.

With that being said here are 17 products I loved in 2017, enjoy!

Overall you can see that I stuck with quite a few things from the high-end side. I want to focus on more drugstore finds this year.

If you have any drugstore recommendations, please leave a comment below.

I hope you all are enjoying your New Year’s Day!

See you all on Wednesday.

December Favorites 2016

Happy Monday Everyone!

I hope everyone is having a great start to your 2017. I know I was a bit MIA last week, but I was gathering my thoughts as to what direction I wanted my blog to go. I know that at the end of last year I wasn’t as present with blog post and content and that was due to life getting in the way. This year I want to be more consistent with my content and I hope you all stick around for the ride.

I wanted to share a few of my favorite things for the month of December. I only had a handful of things but I thought I would share them with you.

Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick – This has been one of my favorite colors when I want a effortless yet put together look. I also love how it wears throughout the day.

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour– I have been loving using this as a base for all of my sparkling eye shadows this past holiday season. This product has slowly become one of my favorites this past month.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer– I have been reaching for this bronzer so much more lately. I forgot how amazing it is. This is the perfect touch of color for my not so colorful skin right now.

Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara– To be honest this was a accidental purchase I thought I was picking up a different mascara than this one. When I opened it and saw half of a mascara wand I was upset. What the heck was a mascara wand shaped like a angel wing going to do. Well it did a lot let me tell you and I have been using it ever since.

NEST Indigo EAU DE PARFUM– Last month I wore this pretty much every single day I didn’t have any Holiday function. It’s such a warm scent that pairs well with any activity you are doing during the day.

Wet N Wild Contour Brush– THIS BRUSH is such a amazing surprise. I found mine at the Dollar Tree and I wasn’t expecting much, but I have been using it to apply blush and I am in love. Stay tune for a full review on a handful of Wet N Wild Brushes.

So that concludes my favorites for this past month. I will have a yearly round up in the next week or so and I am excited to narrow down the products that wowed me over the past 12 months.

Have a great day!

April Favorites 2015

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Where has April gone off too?! I feel like it was here and then it left. I honestly feel like this was filled with highs and lows for me, but in the end it was a great month overall. I am excited for May to appear and for more spring weather. I hope everyone had a great month and that you are looking forward to May.

Now let’s talk about a few things I couldn’t live without this month.

This month I tried to keep my makeup simple and focused on the weather change and what that is going to mean for my current makeup routine. This powder is amazing paired with any of my favorite foundations. It leaves me matte and shine free for a good solid couple of hours and it makes my skin look flawless.

For lip products I rotated between these three products. Yes that Chapstick was a viable option on days I didn’t have time to put on a lipstick. As you can see the colors were very neutral and wearable!

For the past couple of months I have been making sure I always apply a eye cream. I realized this month that the one i’m currently using is almost gone and in all honesty I absolutely love it.

My skin has been so much better this month and most of my dark spots from where I had acne are almost gone. I have a few spots left and this concealer works beautifully at covering any remaining spots.

I don’t know about you, but when I paint my nails I want them to last and recently I have gone back to a favorite drugstore top coat. This isn’t the best I have used but it does the job without breaking the bank and leaves your nails super shiny.

Very plain and boring favorites I know, but this month has been extra special due to other exciting happening in my life that it felt right to keep all my makeup favorites true staples.

What are some of your favorite products this month?

Have a great day and I will see you on Friday!
