Pinterest Recipe: Nutela Mini Pancakes Kabobs

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am bringing back a series I love so much the Pinterest recipes. This series is where I take awesome Pinterest recipes that I stumble upon and recreate them. I recap them for you and tell you how it all went. So here is the original recipe incase you want to recreate these as well.

My roommates and I hosted a house warming party this past Saturday and these were a hit. They don’t look picture perfect like the original recipe, but they sure tasted amazing. It takes great skill to get your pancakes perfectly round. If you can accomplish that I salute you my good madame/sir!

Overall I highly recommend these. If you want a fun snack for a party or just as a nice treat for yourself try these.

I hope you all enjoyed the revival of this series. Let me know what kinds of recipes you want me to try next.

Have a great day!

The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever?

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a chocolate chip recipe that I have been meaning to try after one of my favorite youtubers made a video solely dedicated to her own chocolate chip recipe. If you want to check out the video check it out here.

At this point the recipe states that you cook at 320 degrees for 12-14 minutes. If you have a gas oven I wouldn’t cook the cookies for more than 12 minutes. 12 minutes was the magic number for me!

Overall these cookie are fluffy and soft, but not the best I have ever tried. Maybe the best homemade cookies I have ever made yes! I will give them that. Overall I would say try them out and decide for yourself.

Do you have a go to cookie recipe that you swear by?

Have a great day!

Pinterest Recipe: Valentine’s Day Chocolate Heart Pies

Happy Monday Everyone!

As Valentine’s Day fast approaches I want to try and recreate one last Valentine’s Day themed recipe for the blog. I’m going to be honest I have pinned way too many recipes to begin with that I don’t know what to do. This quest will have to continue until next year.

Now on to the today’s post. I am trying out a pinterest recipe with a bit of a twist from the original one I found. Overall these were so much fun to make and are a different twist for Valentine’s day.

What you will need:

Ready to bake pie crust

Chocolate Chips or in my case Chocolate chunks

Various size heart cookie cutters

Color sugar crystals

Butter & a baking brush or a spoon

These were so much fun to make. I would recommend instead of using the chocolate chips you may want to swap that for Nutella. Other than that these were amazing.

What are your favorite baked goods for celebrating with your significant other?

Hope you have a great day!

Pinterest Recipe: Gluten- Free Banana Bread

Happy Friday Everyone!

I hope everyone had a great week! I am so excited for this short upcoming week. Thanksgiving can’t come soon enough. I am excited to be back home and to relax for a few days. I was stressed out a few weeks ago and I decided to scroll through Pinterest and found this recipe that I had to try.

One of my roommates cannot have gluten so I figured that this gave me the perfect excuse to try this out. Overall it was okay, but if you don’t eat it within two days it dries out and it’s not as enjoyable.

I apologize for not having a picture of the end result, but I had to leave it in the oven for a little bit longer than the recipe called for and it got burned. Trust me it was not picture worthy.

I am still on the hunt for a recipe for a gluten-free banana bread.

Anyone know of a good gluten-free banana bread recipe?

Have a great weekend! See you all on Monday.

If you are interested in making these cupcakes check out the recipe here.

What are your favorite kind of cupcakes?

I hope you all have a great start to your week! See you on Wednesday.

A Naked Cake.

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a cake that has been on my baker’s bucket list. This beauty is called a Naked Cake. This has become a popular trend among bakers and all it really means it doesn’t have any icing on the outside. Honestly I was terrified  of making this cake so many things could go wrong and I wouldn’t be able to cover it up with a layer of icing! Luckily I think it came out pretty cute if you ask me!

I will also share a picture of my Zumba crowd which I shared this cake with since it was one of my dear friends birthday and I just happened to meet her in a Zumba class!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I know I had a blast with all of my friends!

Have a great start to your week and I will see you on Wednesday!

A cake from Pinterest.

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I bring you a cake I discovered from Pinterest. You can see the original post here and if you want to follow me on Pinterest you can click here.

This cake was one of the hardest ones I made and trust me I have made some pretty difficult ones. This one has a ton of ingredients and it’s not for the faint of heart when it comes to the sugar intake. Overall I would make this again if I have the time, ingredients and energy. The end result is wonderful and most people seemed to enjoy how every single ingredient came together to create a delicious cake.

Have you ever tried a pinterest recipe? Any recipes you love?

Have a great weekend and I will see you on Monday!
