Kylie Jenner’s 21st Birthday Makeup Collection

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing a first impression on the Kylie Cosmetics 21st Birthday makeup collection she launched in August. I had never felt inclined to purchase a collection from her because I felt like the products weren’t something I would wear. When I looked up to see what all the fuzz was about with this new makeup collection I actually saw myself wearing the products, shocker. I ordered one of her bundles and waited patiently.

The Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner Birthday Collection Bundle includes:

Birthday Collection Pressed Powder Palette

Birthday Collection Rager Lipstick

Birthday Collection 6 pc. Mini Lip Set

Birthday Collection Twenty One Matte Lip Kit

Birthday Collection Eat Cake Glitter Eyes

Birthday Collection Champagne Showers Highlighter

Birthday Collection Cosmetic Bag

I am excited to try these new goodies out and create different fall inspired looks for you all. I am really excited about all of the liquid lipsticks that are going to transition perfectly for the Fall weather.

Do you own any Kylie Jenner Cosmetics? If so, what is your favorite product of hers?

Have a wonderful weekend!

August Favorites 2016

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a few of my favorite things that used in August. August is a special month for me because my entire family’s birthdays lands in the first 18 days of August. This August was different because I took two summer classes in June and July that August felt like a breath of fresh air with very little responsibilities and stress. I also started my new job and began my last year of graduate school.

All in all this past month has been anything but boring!

Here is what I have been loving:

This Aesthetica palette has been loved dearly and I love how versatile it is. As you can tell the banana shade has been used quite frequently. Let me say that this past month I have been loving using my Hourglass brow sculpting pencil to make sure my eyebrows look put together.

So I recently looked through my makeup stash and found some goodies from my trip to London and I remembered why I fell in love with both of these products the minute I swatched them in Boots. This Bourgeois bronzer is absolutely one of my favorites to bring more color onto my face. This blush from Natura Lection is amazing for every day wear and I can’t say enough good things about this.

I had talked about this Smashbox Primer Water a couple of months back and I absolutely love how hydrating it is to my skin. I have started to use this regularly and I love it. Last but not least I received this Coach perfume for my birthday and I am in love with how amazing it smells.

What were some of your favorite products for the month of August?

Have a great day!

8.18.16 -A Letter to my future self

Happy Friday Everyone!

Yesterday I turned 26! Twenty six years old AHHH. I’m not going to lie I had a rough day. I decide to keep myself busy for most of the day and I am grateful for all of the Facebook messages, phone calls and  snap chats I received. I still couldn’t shake off the feeling of being alone. It sounds silly to say when I was surrounded by people all day, but I have been feeling a little bit down for a while now. I decide to put all of my emotions into a letter to my future self. I also included some old pictures that sum up how awkward I was in high school! This is something I can look back on a couple of years down the road. I apologize that this isn’t my normal blog post, but next week I will have more reviews and more fun things up on here.

Dear future self,

I know it’s been a while since we last spoke. Life has been busy and I can’t help but notice how far you have come. You graduated from Graduate school, you managed to get the job of your dreams and you continue to kick butt in everything you set your mind to do.

I want to tell you that you are a amazing person and that even on the days you fee low, and sad you are still loved by so many. I want to tell you that life is hard and that you will get over any negative/sad feelings you have. I also wanted to remind you how hard your 25th year on this earth was, but yet you managed to tackle it with grace and courage when everything felt like it was crumbling apart. My dear Michelle you are a extraordinary person with so many gift and don’t you ever forget it. I hope whenever you read this again that you remember all of the great things you have done and that you continue to seek that passion and those once in a lifetime moments that take your breath away.

Enjoy your day!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Today is a very special day for me, it just so happens to be my 25th birthday. I can’t believe I have managed to be on this planet for 25 years. It’s quite impressive if you ask me. When I turned 24 I had a list of things I wanted to accomplish before I turned 25. Did most of those things happen? Well not all but a few did and that’s the magic about life you can’t always plan everything you can have a general direction of where you want your year to go and just take each opportunity as it comes.

I’m a few weeks from starting graduate school to cross off one things off my list get my masters and stand proudly as the first in my immediate family to do so. I have two years of sacrifice and hard work ahead of me, and yet I feel like I am 18 again getting ready to start my freshman year of college. I truly believe age is just a number and that we are defined by what we accomplish and what we strive for in life. Every day is a new opportunity and every birthday marks a new beginning of adult accomplishments some that are better than others, but still accomplishments no matter how you look at them.

So here is to being 25 and exploring my potential and the world around me!

Thank you in advance for all the love you have given me and my blog this past year. I truly appreciate everyone of my followers and readers. Thank you for sticking by my side while I find out who I am and what path I’m destined to follow.

Once I get settled into my new place I will have a ton more content on this blog. Please be patient I have not forgotten about you all.

See you on Thursday!

POPSUGAR Must Have Box – August

Happy Friday Everyone!
This month I decided to try a new subscription box and I was not disappointed. I have tried the beauty subscription boxes and I got sick of them so I took a break from subscription boxes and just looked around and saw what was out there. I stumbled upon the pop sugar must have box and I knew I wanted to give it a shot.

Here are a few reasons why:
-It includes more than just beauty
-You get a mix of products (they sometimes send you books!)
-It seemed to be catered for a young woman rather than a teenager (I’m sure they would love it as well)
-I found a coupon code!

So with those reason I crossed my finger and prayed I would get some amazing things in the August box and here is what came inside.

If you total the price of this box based on suggested retail it would be a little more than $126. I got this box for $34.95 with the $5 off coupon. The original price is $39.95 a month.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this box. It could have been a bomb and I would have wasted $35 or it could of been a nice little surprise, which is exactly what happened. I will use every single thing that was sent. I have been wearing those beautiful earrings every other day because they go with pretty much any outfit I decide to wear. If you ask me I highly recommend you check this box out if you get a chance. You can get yours here.
