Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Gold Bar

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing a review on yet another highlighter. I seriously have a highlighting obsession which I need to keep under control. Today I bring you a new drugstore highlighter find. I wanted to let you know if this particular highlighter is worth it or not.

This highlighter is one for those who want a natural glow. I knew when I picked it up that it may not be a highlight that I was going to reach for special events. I picked it up specifically for every day wear.

As you can see this highlight is a natural and is subtle. If you aren’t a fan of a disco ball highlight then this might be the highlight for you. I like to layer this with my e.l.f cream highlight it really brings it home without it looking like I caked on a bunch of products.

Have you tried this Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Gold Bar? What is your go to drugstore highlight?

Have a great day and I will see you on Friday.

e.l.f Shimmering Highlight Powder -Starlight Glow

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing a first impression on this e.l.f. Shimmering Highlight Powder in Starlight Glow. I have been trying to branch out from all of my high-end highlighters and give some drugstore brands a try. Off the bat I had heard some pretty good things about the e.l.f highlighters. The price is very affordable ($6) for what you are getting and I wanted to see for myself what all this talk was about.

What e.l.f states about this highlight: This lightweight, versatile pressed shimmer highlighting powder helps amplify your natural radiance with a refined glow. Microfine particles blur lines to create a soft focus effect on the skin. Designed to highlight and reflect light for a luminous, photo-ready finish.

They have 7 other shades available in this same formula, you can shop them here. Overall I like that I can build this highlight up as much as I want and can wear it on a every day basis without feeling like I look like a disco ball.

I am really curious to check out the other shades that they have available for this bronzer. I definitely see this bronzer staying in my makeup routine for a little while longer.

Have you tried this particular bronzer? Any drugstore highlighters you recommend I should try?

Have a great day!

A Ulta Haul -Spring 2018

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I have a Ulta Haul for you. I had been putting off going into Ulta because my self-control is really bad. I ran out of my favorite primer which is the Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Primer and I finally decided that I needed to replace it. In the process of buying my a refill of my primer I also managed to pick up a few other things. Be on the look out for my first impressions and reviews of all of these goodies.

What I picked up:

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Instant-Perfecting Primer

e.l.f. Starbust Glitter in Gold Galaxy

e.l.f. Shimmer Highlighting Powder in Starlight Glow

Makeup Revolution London Retro Luxe Matte Lip Kit in Reign

Makeup Revolution London Reloaded Iconic Fever Palette

I’m excited to try out all of these products from Makeup Revolution London and get back to you on what my thoughts are and most importantly if they are worth you spending your hard earned money on them.

Let me know what you want me to review first?

Have a wonderful day! See you all on Wednesday.

Profusion 6 Color Blush Palette

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today am so excited to share with you all this super affordable blush palette that I picked up at Target. It has 6 versatile colors for every day use and the best part that it’s only $4.99! Honestly, I have found that I sometimes you don’t get the best quality for $5, but this palette was a real gem of a find in my opinion. Now let me be clear you aren’t going to get blushes that are so pigmented that you are intimidated to even look at the palette for fear of applying to much.

These blushes are build-able and are perfect for beginners, intermediates if you are a pro you probably have other blushes that you would much rather use. I love that Target has started to carry more affordable brands that actually work and aren’t crappy products.

Have you used this brand before? What is your go to affordable blush palette?

Have a great Weekend! I will see you on Monday.

E.L.F Liquid Matte Lipsticks

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my thoughts on E.L.F’s Liquid Lipsticks. I had heard that these had been out for a while, but I could not find them anywhere in my area. I am also an inpatient person and didn’t want to wait until all of the shades I liked were back in stock.

These retail for $5 and come in 11 shades. You get Net 0.10 fl. oz. (3 mL) in each tube. I picked up the following shades: Blushing Rose, Tea Rose and Praline. You can purchase the whole shade range here.

Here is what E.L.F claims this liquid lipstick can do:

This Liquid Matte Lipstick achieves a long lasting, gorgeous matte finish. The formula is enriched with Vitamin E to help nourish and condition the lips. The slim, diamond shaped applicator gives you flawless application in just one stroke!

Overall I think these are great lip products if you are on a budget and want to try out the liquid lipstick craze. I don’t thinks these are very long lasting. If you eat and drink, these will wear off and leave your lips needing a touch up. If you are looking for something that will wear more evenly throughout the day and don’t mind spending a bit more money try the Tarte or Smashbox liquid lipsticks.

Have you tried these e.l.f Liquid Matte Lipsticks before? If so, what are your thoughts?

What is your go to liquid lipstick?

Have a great day! I will see you on Friday!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a look that I came up with if I did have somewhere to go on Valentine’s Day. I decided to tackle this look by creating something that made me feel and look good. I wanted to play with a new palette I recently purchased and I love what I came up with.

These are the products I used (pictured above).

The final Look! I absolutely how well these colors compliment my eye color.

Have you tried this Wet n Wild Palette? What is your go to Makeup Look for the days you want to feel like a rockstar?

Remember Makeup is used to enhance your natural beauty, so let that shine bright!

Have a great day!

January Favorites 2017

Happy Monday Everyone!

I wanted to take a few minutes to just say that we survived the first month of 2017! I know that January sometimes feels like the Monday of the year and let’s just take a moment to say that it’s over and we all survived. This past month I decided to focus my energy on products that made my life simpler or added to my mission to create a better version of myself and I am excited to share them with you. Now before you all start judging me most of these products are beauty related, but I will have some special posts this month focusing on other things that have brought balance and love into my life this past month.

Pixi Colour Correcting Powder Foundation – Over the past month I have fallen in love with this powder. It is such a great undiscovered product that I am blown away by why it doesn’t not have any more hype. This product goes smoothly onto the skin and adjust to my skin without making it look too washed out or too orange. It make my foundation stay on all day and helps keep my shine stay at bay.

E.L.F Aqua Beauty Blush & Bronzer in Bronzed Pink Beige – Okay so I know from the picture the bronzer in this duo compact looks crazy. Well it’s a long more moveable than a powder bronzer, but it’s a nice way to keep my contour and bronzing natural. I love how pigmented this palette is and how easy it to apply.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush in Unstoppable – I am absolutely obsessed how natural this blush looks on my skin. It’s my cheeks but better and I don’t think I will ever put this blush down. It is definitely my go to every day blush.

it Cosmetics CC+ Cream – I have been using this CC cream for over three months now and it has made such a difference in my skin and I absolutely love it. This CC cream does not break me out and has build able coverage.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer – I absolutely this concealer! This blends beautifully and brightens my under eyes. I have used this on and off and I always come back to this concealer.

Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara & Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara– I have been layering both of these mascaras for the past two months and I love how amazing my lashes look like. Both of these brushes work beautifully at creating long and full lashes.

Fitbit Blaze – I absolutely love my Fitbit blaze and how it allows me to check my text, and my fitness. If you are looking at a way to track your fitness check this watch out I highly recommend it.

What are some of your monthly favorites? Have you tried any of my favorites?

Have a great day!
