Today I am sharing a first impression on the Kylie Cosmetics 21st Birthday makeup collection she launched in August. I had never felt inclined to purchase a collection from her because I felt like the products weren’t something I would wear. When I looked up to see what all the fuzz was about with this new makeup collection I actually saw myself wearing the products, shocker. I ordered one of her bundles and waited patiently.
The Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner Birthday Collection Bundle includes:
Birthday Collection Pressed Powder Palette
Birthday Collection Rager Lipstick
Birthday Collection 6 pc. Mini Lip Set
Birthday Collection Twenty One Matte Lip Kit
Birthday Collection Eat Cake Glitter Eyes
Birthday Collection Champagne Showers Highlighter
Birthday Collection Cosmetic Bag
I am excited to try these new goodies out and create different fall inspired looks for you all. I am really excited about all of the liquid lipsticks that are going to transition perfectly for the Fall weather.
Do you own any Kylie Jenner Cosmetics? If so, what is your favorite product of hers?
Today I am sharing with you all a super easy DIY. It takes a few minutes to do, but transform this kid like peg board into something more chic. I picked this peg board from Target. It was only $3 from the dollar section and I knew I could spray paint this into something more modern.
I loved the way this simple DIY turned out all you really need is a can of spray paint in the color of your choosing and BAM you have a unique peg board custom to your style.
Please let me know if you enjoy these kinds of blog post so I can do more of them in the future.
What has been your favorite DIY that you have done?
The last two months have been consumed with packing, moving, quitting my second job and finding a balance with my life. I decided to take a step away from my blog and focus on actually living my life.
As always I try and document the major shifts in my life and this is one that I feel like I had to take a little bit longer to share. I finally started to put my room together and through I would share some snapshots of that process.
This marks my return to my blog and I feel excited for the new more mature content. I hope you all stick around and enjoy the this new chapter of my life and of my blog.
What are some new life changes you are currently experiencing?
Today I am sharing a review on yet another highlighter. I seriously have a highlighting obsession which I need to keep under control. Today I bring you a new drugstore highlighter find. I wanted to let you know if this particular highlighter is worth it or not.
This highlighter is one for those who want a natural glow. I knew when I picked it up that it may not be a highlight that I was going to reach for special events. I picked it up specifically for every day wear.
As you can see this highlight is a natural and is subtle. If you aren’t a fan of a disco ball highlight then this might be the highlight for you. I like to layer this with my e.l.f cream highlight it really brings it home without it looking like I caked on a bunch of products.
Have you tried this Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Gold Bar? What is your go to drugstore highlight?
Welcome back, where do I begin to explain where I have been. It can be summed up by saying that I needed time to live life. Explore new opportunities and make mistakes. I am back to blogging with a new perspective and have a new found energy for what I want to put out into the world.
For starters, I got a new tattoo that embodies this new feeling. I wanted my first blog post to be exactly about creating the life you want. I feel like I have taken these steps in the last few months. This new tattoo is a reminder that I am capable of creating so many wonderful things in my life.
I want to thank you for sticking around and continuing to join me in this journey called life, and all the snapshots I share with you all.
Do any of you have any tattoos? If so what are they and do you mind sharing their meaning?
Welcome Back to my blog. I know it’s been a while since I posted on my blog. So to make it up to you all I wanted to share a haul and explain a bit why I have been absent. So while I was gone I did a little bit of shopping and I started a new job. I also have been working on my personal relationships. I also have been nurturing my relationship with myself something that continues to be a top priority. I really needed a break to work on the real parts in my life. I hope you all can understand why I have been gone for so long and can forgive my absence. So now onto the haul.
I was in dire need of a few staple items and others were a simple treat to myself for accomplishing a few of my goals. There was a bit of a blue common theme with all the items I picked up.
The items I picked up:
Hard Candy Sheer Envy Stick it to Pores
Hard Candy Sheer Envy Mattifying Primer
Fenty Beauty Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter Duo
Revolution Conceal & Define
Fashion Statement Earrings from Walmart
I am so excited to review these products for you in the near future. I am so excited to be back and get back to my regular schedule posting.
Today I am sharing a first impression on this e.l.f. Shimmering Highlight Powder in Starlight Glow. I have been trying to branch out from all of my high-end highlighters and give some drugstore brands a try. Off the bat I had heard some pretty good things about the e.l.f highlighters. The price is very affordable ($6) for what you are getting and I wanted to see for myself what all this talk was about.
What e.l.f states about this highlight: This lightweight, versatile pressed shimmer highlighting powder helps amplify your natural radiance with a refined glow. Microfine particles blur lines to create a soft focus effect on the skin. Designed to highlight and reflect light for a luminous, photo-ready finish.
They have 7 other shades available in this same formula, you can shop them here. Overall I like that I can build this highlight up as much as I want and can wear it on a every day basis without feeling like I look like a disco ball.
I am really curious to check out the other shades that they have available for this bronzer. I definitely see this bronzer staying in my makeup routine for a little while longer.
Have you tried this particular bronzer? Any drugstore highlighters you recommend I should try?
Today I am sharing with you a really awesome DIY project I had been working on for the new release of Deadpool 2. I really wanted to wear something that showed my love for Deadpool, but not dress up in costume. I compromised on this jean jacket and at the end of it all I had such a great time watching Deadpool 2.
Use a jacket you already have, or find one at the thrift store or at your local retail store that maybe on clearance. I wanted to add more texture to my jacket and decide to spray paint it and sponge on some white paint all over it (this step can be optional).
Buy a assortment of iron on patches and place them in the areas you feel work best with the jacket. I also purchased iron on letters and numbers to add Deadpool’s last name and the year the comic was created.
Follow the directions on each of the patches and apply heat. You can also use fabric glue to apply the patches if you don’t own a iron.
(Optional) Step Four:
My iron on letters had me peel off the plastic bit off of them to complete my look.
The finished product!
This DIY was so much fun to create and I am so excited to try to create more wearable DIY’s in the future. I hope you all enjoyed.
Are any of you Deadpool fans? How about any other superhero?
