Yves Saint Laurent Tatourage Couture Matte Stain

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my new obsession when it comes to matte stains. This Yves Saint Laurent Tatourage Couture Matte Stain has become a favorite of mine since I received it as a sample from Sephora. I’m the kind of girl who loves rocking a red lip, but I hate the maintenance of having to reapply. This isn’t 100% transfer proof, but does stay on your lips a long time. Like the name says it’s a stain that really does stick around for a while.

This beautiful color is perfect for spring and summer. This color screams look at me and that means you can keep the rest of your makeup look simple and polished.

What is your favorite go to lip stain? What bright colors do you gravitate towards?

Have a great day and I will see you on Wednesday!

March Favorites 2018

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my March Favorites. I have been testing quite a few new products and I am excited to share them with you. I feel like this month I had such a good routine going when it came to my skincare and makeup. I am really excited for spring to hopefully make an appearance this April. Is that too much to ask for a little bit of warm weather?

As you will see I have been trying out a few new products that are natural and good for your skin. They come from this small shop in Harrisonburg, VA. You can check them here if you want to learn more.

I’m currently trying out two new different makeup products from with simplicity and I have been enjoying the new additions to my makeup routine. I picked up their dry or wet eye shadow product in Latte and their mineral matte foundation.

I finally got around to painting my nails and picking up a new perfume which you can read more about here. I returned to my tried and true mascara from Maybelline the Colossal Volume’ Express Cat Eye edition. The last and final product that completely blew me away this month was the Black Radiance Perfect Tone Matte Lip Creme in Berry Naked.

Like I mentioned earlier I have been killing it with my skincare routine this month and I owe all of that to my new face wash from with simplicity. I also picked up the boscia no pores no shine T-zone treatment that has been helping me keep my T-zone shine free throughout the day. Last but not least I have been taking my eye makeup off with the Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads these have been part of my routine for quite some time.

I hope you all enjoyed my March favorites and that you all have a great start to April. I’m excited to see what new adventures and things I discover this upcoming month.

What were some of your favorite products for March? Anything you would recommend me try out?

Have a great Friday! See you all on Monday.

Multi-tasking beauty products in my beauty routine

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you two products that I have been using as multi-tasking agents in my beauty routine. Both of the products that I mentioned below have been game changers for me.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer -Hotel Heiress

I use this as a bronzer all over my face and as a transition shade on my crease for all of my eye looks.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Highlighter

I use this highlighter to highlight the high points of my face and I recently started to use this as a eye shadow and I have been loving it.

I have been loving multi-tasking products that cut time out of my beauty routine. I also love that I am saving money by finding different uses to products I already own.

What are some of your favorite multi-tasking products?

Have a great day and I will see you on Friday !

How I curl my long angled bob- Hair Tutorial

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my routine when I want to curl my hair. I have transition into using my flat iron to get more natural looking waves. It was a bit hard at the beginning and with day of practice I have nailed down a routine I am happy with.

What I love about using my flat iron is that I never get the same looking curl. It gives my hairstyle a more organic look which is what I am loving right now.

How do you normally curl your hair? Are you a curling iron kinda gal?

Have a great day and I will see you on Wednesday.

with Simplicity Beauty & Wellness Shop

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you all a new little shop in my hometown that I recently discovered. This shops focus is creating high quality beauty products without all of the toxic chemicals that other beauty products have. Stepping into the shop was such a neat experience because it’s absolutely beautifully decorated and it smells amazing. Fun little fact is that they also have other services such as facials which I got a chance to try out. I was absolutely blown away by that experience I figured I had to share a little bit more about their shop with all of you all.

A little bit about the shop: Growing up with gardening as a way of life, my love for herbs and making everything yourself was born. What started out as making simple, toxic free and effective products for my family grew into a business. All of our products are individually handmade with high quality, effective ingredients, cruelty free, gluten free and vegan friendly. We do not use artificial colors and fragrance oils, all of the scents are achieved with therapeutic grade essential oils and extracts.

Mineral Matte Foundation in Medium Beige

This Mineral foundation has been a nice addition to put on top of my liquid foundation. It adds a nice layer of extra coverage while keeping my skin matte throughout the day. I haven’t had a chance to use it alone, but when I tested it out at the store on my bare face it had decent coverage.

Dry or Wet Eye Powder

This dry or wet eye powder comes in so many beautiful colors and it was hard for me to pick just one, but I did. I decided on this Latte color which is absolutely beautiful and I knew I was going to wear regularly. I have tried this product wet and dry and it has a beautiful pay off either way. I can definitely see myself going back for more colors.
