Festive Friday: Dermstore Skin Care Collectiono

Happy Friday Everyone!

Welcome to winter Wednesdays on my corner of the internet. I am so excited for all of the awesome things I am going to share with you all this month. To start off I am talking about skincare and making sure your skin is protected.

I picked up this skincare kit at Target and it contains:

0.5 fl oz Sunday Riley GOOD GENES All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment
0.07oz SkinMedica TNS Eye Repair
0.5oz Lancer Skincare The Method: Polish
15g Tula Skincare Hydrating Day & Night Cream
1 fl oz DHC Deep Cleansing Oil
1 set Erna Laszlo Multi-Task Eye Serum Mask
100ml Bioderma Sensibio H2O
10ml Colorescience Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield SPF 50 (PA+++)

I wanted to highlight four products from this skin care collection that I completely feel in love with when I was trying this out.

This Deep Cleansing oil completely shocked me at how light weight it is. I was one of the most lightweight and cleansing oils I have ever used. No sticky residue and washes off with water like a dream.

These multi-task eye serum masks were such a cool experience because they were and instant fix to my puff eyes.

I focused on my eyes this particular pampering and I had to try out the This Eyes cream in this set. I loved how light this eye is and that it can be used twice a day.

I hope you all enjoyed this mini review and that you are taking some time to take care of your skin this holiday season.

Have a great weekend and I will see you on Monday!

Smooth Like The Summer: OOTD

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you an Outfit of the day. I explored D.C. a few weekends ago and I decided to have a mini photoshoot and I wanted to share what I wore. I’m so excited to transition my wardrobe to more fall colors and patterns.

My Outfit Details:

Top – Walmart

Jeans – Costco

Shoes – Steve Madden

Bangle – Eastern Market

I’m absolutely in love with my outfit and I can see this top being paired up with different pants and a coat and of course booties for a much more Fall themed outfit.

What is your go to Fall Outfit? Does it include booties or flats?

Have a great day & see you tomorrow!

My Christmas Tree

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my first adult Christmas Tree! I had to compromise and go with a fake one since I knew I could not keep up with keeping a real one alive. Maybe next year we will consider it for more than 30 seconds. At least this year I managed to have a tree I am pretty darn proud off without breaking the bank.

I hope you enjoy my tree as much as I do.

I hope you have a great day!

This Election…

Happy Monday Everyone!

A few days have passed since the United States elected their new president and I like many were in shock that Donald Trump was elected the next president of the United States. I had very mixed emotions. Mostly bad ones because if everything he said in the campaign trail came true my family would be impacted. As a HispanicLatina (his words not mine!) I am a minority in this country and I often times get discriminated and made fun of for my culture. I got the privileged to vote on Tuesday and I did so keeping in mind that not only will I be impacted, but my family and those people around me who don’t have a voice.

As I sit here on Thursday night I want to say the following words a old roommate of mine posted on his facebook.

“President Donald Trump has my unity. He and our Congress have my support as they do their work to try and fix the economy, our place within the world, and put people back to work. He is our President, and I respect that office and what it represents.

What President Trump does NOT have is a free pass. He has used extremely damaging language during his campaign, and calling for unity now does not forgive that. He has threatened people for the way they look, the way they feel, and for circumstances beyond their control. A lot of people have a lot of reason to be sick and worried.

But America is a place for all. In my lifetime, our vigilance to that idea has never been more important. Our engagement in political discourse, our willingness to challenge our leaders when they step out of line, and our acceptance and protection of one another as fellow Americans with human needs and undeniable rights is now required.” – Jeff Dedrick

As we move forward I just wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts on this topic. I consider this blog a online journal about everything I want to share. I promise my beauty post will be back on Wednesday.

Have a great day!

My Foundation & Concealer Routine

Happy Friday Everyone!

I am so excited to share with you my foundation and concealer routine. It’s quite boring to be honest I don’t do anything crazy just the essential cover up and go. What I do want to talk about is the products I use those are worthy of your attention.

These four products are a game changer!

Let’s start off by talking about this CC+ cream from it cosmetics. I am absolutely over the moon with this product it’s amazing. The coverage is ridiculous and it matches my skin tone perfectly.

As you can see I am a huge fan of the Real Technique Complexion sponge and the  Mini Eraser. These two sponges have taken my foundation and concealer application to the next level: Flawless.

This e.l.f HD concealer is my holy grail product it’s pigmented enough to hide my under eyes and cheap enough that I feel like I can stock up and never run out.

I love the finishes effect all these products have on my face and I think I have finally found a routine & products that work for me.

What is your go to foundation? Have you tried the Real Techniques Sponges?

Have a great day!

Pantene 3 Minute Miracle Moisture Renewal Deep Conditioner

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a review on this relatively new hair product that I have been trying out for over a month. I wanted to try and use up most of the product before I reviewed it. As you all know I absolutely love a good hair mask. I try and be economically savvy when it comes to how much money I spend on hair products. I’m not in a place in my life where I can fork over 20+ dollars on shampoo or conditioner. I like to keep things relatively at a low cost and that means I use deep conditioner to keep my hair healthy, and soft.

Product Detail:

-Perfect for extra dry hair.

– It delivers healthy hydration to transform every strand into pure silk.

This product smells really pleasant and clean. It has a consistency kind of like yogurt and a palm size amount is sufficient to cover medium length hair. This deep conditioner is designed to sit on your hair for only 3 minutes and it rinses out without much trouble from your hair.

I will be complete honest and say that this product doesn’t feel as hydrating as the Aussie 3 minute miracle deep conditioner which I have used for years now. It’s also not as thick as the Aussie one. I think if you aren’t looking for a super hydrating deep conditioner this maybe a good one to check out. I alternate between this Pantene and the Aussie deep conditioner.

Have you tried this Pantene 3 minute miracle deep conditioner? What are your thoughts?

Any other affordable deep conditioners you would recommend?

Have a great day!
