Pinterest Recipe: Nutela Mini Pancakes Kabobs

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today I am bringing back a series I love so much the Pinterest recipes. This series is where I take awesome Pinterest recipes that I stumble upon and recreate them. I recap them for you and tell you how it all went. So here is the original recipe incase you want to recreate these as well.

My roommates and I hosted a house warming party this past Saturday and these were a hit. They don’t look picture perfect like the original recipe, but they sure tasted amazing. It takes great skill to get your pancakes perfectly round. If you can accomplish that I salute you my good madame/sir!

Overall I highly recommend these. If you want a fun snack for a party or just as a nice treat for yourself try these.

I hope you all enjoyed the revival of this series. Let me know what kinds of recipes you want me to try next.

Have a great day!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

I know it’s been a long time since I sat on my laptop and cranked out a super awesome blog post. Life has been hectic, sad and hard these past month. I found a loved one was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I attended a funeral and had to say good bye to someone who died too young. I finished up my first year of graduate school & have been working like crazy at a job I enjoy. To say the least my life is under construction at the moment.

I wanted to post a little explanation so you all know that in the next few days I will try and get back on my regular schedule.

Here is what you can look forward to:

1. More Reviews

2. A peek at my school/work bag

3. More recipes

I can’t wait for the up coming months and all I have in store for this blog of mine!

Have a great day!

The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever?

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a chocolate chip recipe that I have been meaning to try after one of my favorite youtubers made a video solely dedicated to her own chocolate chip recipe. If you want to check out the video check it out here.

At this point the recipe states that you cook at 320 degrees for 12-14 minutes. If you have a gas oven I wouldn’t cook the cookies for more than 12 minutes. 12 minutes was the magic number for me!

Overall these cookie are fluffy and soft, but not the best I have ever tried. Maybe the best homemade cookies I have ever made yes! I will give them that. Overall I would say try them out and decide for yourself.

Do you have a go to cookie recipe that you swear by?

Have a great day!

Pinterest Recipe: Valentine’s Day Chocolate Heart Pies

Happy Monday Everyone!

As Valentine’s Day fast approaches I want to try and recreate one last Valentine’s Day themed recipe for the blog. I’m going to be honest I have pinned way too many recipes to begin with that I don’t know what to do. This quest will have to continue until next year.

Now on to the today’s post. I am trying out a pinterest recipe with a bit of a twist from the original one I found. Overall these were so much fun to make and are a different twist for Valentine’s day.

What you will need:

Ready to bake pie crust

Chocolate Chips or in my case Chocolate chunks

Various size heart cookie cutters

Color sugar crystals

Butter & a baking brush or a spoon

These were so much fun to make. I would recommend instead of using the chocolate chips you may want to swap that for Nutella. Other than that these were amazing.

What are your favorite baked goods for celebrating with your significant other?

Hope you have a great day!

Pinterest Recipe: Gluten- Free Banana Bread

Happy Friday Everyone!

I hope everyone had a great week! I am so excited for this short upcoming week. Thanksgiving can’t come soon enough. I am excited to be back home and to relax for a few days. I was stressed out a few weeks ago and I decided to scroll through Pinterest and found this recipe that I had to try.

One of my roommates cannot have gluten so I figured that this gave me the perfect excuse to try this out. Overall it was okay, but if you don’t eat it within two days it dries out and it’s not as enjoyable.

I apologize for not having a picture of the end result, but I had to leave it in the oven for a little bit longer than the recipe called for and it got burned. Trust me it was not picture worthy.

I am still on the hunt for a recipe for a gluten-free banana bread.

Anyone know of a good gluten-free banana bread recipe?

Have a great weekend! See you all on Monday.

Pinterest Recipe: Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup

Happy Friday Everyone!

I hope you all have had a great week. I started my week being sick and feeling miserable. I owe it all to the pesky cold bug that has been going around. One of the things that makes me feel better is a home made chicken noodle soup. Due to my schedule I don’t have enough time to sit and whip up soup from scratch unless I use a crock pot.

The awesome things about all of the recipes that you find on Pinterest is that they can be modified and made to your liking.

Here is the original recipe that I used.

I substituted celery for green beans and the chicken stock for the Knorr Chicken seasoning because I had those things on hand.

This recipe was a life savor because it allow me to have enough soup for three days which meant I could be lazy when it came to how many meals I had to prepare while I was sick. If you haven’t tried this recipe I highly suggest it!

What is your go to food when you are sick?

Have a great weekend see you on Monday!
