Happy Friday Everyone!
Today I am sharing with you a really awesome DIY project I had been working on for the new release of Deadpool 2. I really wanted to wear something that showed my love for Deadpool, but not dress up in costume. I compromised on this jean jacket and at the end of it all I had such a great time watching Deadpool 2.
Step One:
Use a jacket you already have, or find one at the thrift store or at your local retail store that maybe on clearance. I wanted to add more texture to my jacket and decide to spray paint it and sponge on some white paint all over it (this step can be optional).
Step two:
Buy a assortment of iron on patches and place them in the areas you feel work best with the jacket. I also purchased iron on letters and numbers to add Deadpool’s last name and the year the comic was created.
Step Three:
Follow the directions on each of the patches and apply heat. You can also use fabric glue to apply the patches if you don’t own a iron.
(Optional) Step Four:
My iron on letters had me peel off the plastic bit off of them to complete my look.
The finished product!
This DIY was so much fun to create and I am so excited to try to create more wearable DIY’s in the future. I hope you all enjoyed.
Are any of you Deadpool fans? How about any other superhero?
Have a great weekend!
