Happy Sunday Everyone!
2016 is finally here and it feels like 2015 flew by! I can’t believe it. For today’s post I wanted to share with you all a few of my favorite memories of 2015 and a few of my favorite products that I discovered. I will have a top 2015 beauty favorites post
#1 Moving for Graduate school
This year I embarked on one of the hardest chapters of my life. I moved two hours away, from family, friends and the community I had built to pursue my dream of becoming a licensed clinical social worker. I can honestly say this has been one of the hardest yet most rewarding challenges I have ever faced, but I am exited for what will happen next.
#2 I turned 25 years old
Believe it or not this was a big milestone for me. I never would have imagined that I would be where I am today as a 25 years old. I want to believe that I would of made my younger self proud and that I she would be excited to reach this milestone, just like I was.
#3 I traveled, again.
This year was a low key when it came to traveling, but I managed to go out and explore some beautiful places within the U.S. and I am hoping that I can do that again this summer.
#4 I baked more.
This past year I made it my mission to bake as much as I could and I feel in love with cake decorating as a hobby. I am so glad I was able to take a few months and attend cake decorating classes. That was a experience that not many people can do, but it was so rewarding for me.
#5 I feel in love with a mascara
For most of 2015 I only reached for this Covergirl Mascara and let me tell you it did not disappoint. I have been branching out to newer mascaras as the year started, but this will always be a holy grail product.
#6 I discovered feelunique.com
This website allowed me to get all of the UK beauty that I had heard so much about delivered right to my doorstep. I loved trying out all of the UK youtube’s beauty products this past year and I am excited for what else they come out with.
This pretty much sums up my 2015! It was such an exciting year that I am ready for what 2016 has in store for me.
What are some of your 2015 highlights?
Cheers to a great year! See you all in two days.
