Flying by yourself. 


Happy Friday Everyone! 

I am currently in Kansas City as your reading this post. I got here on Friday and luckily everything went smoothly with traveling. I had flown before, but never within the U.S. I had never had to buy a plane ticket with connecting flight boarding 1hr after we land. All of this to say flying can be stressful and it can cause anxiety. 

Here are a few tips I do to avoid freaking out when I fly: 

1. Make a list of all of the important documents/ items you need.

2. If your airline allows, check in the night before to have a smoother airport experience.

3. Bring a empty water bottle & unopened snack (your tummy will thank you) 

4. Pack two extra outfits that can be mixed and matched with the piece you already have planned to wear. 

5. Give yourself enough time to get to your gate just in case things are running slow in the airport lines. 

I fly back tomorrow and honestly I hope everything is as smooth as my arrival here. I promise to catch up in my next post on Wednesday.
