Today I bring you another review on a new palette. This go around it’s the Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette a sister palette to the Maybelline The Nudes Palette that was released a couple months ago. I decided to skip that palette because it looked like a ton of other palettes that I already owned. I have no justification for purchasing this palette other than the colors that come in this drew me in. It has very similar tones to the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette.
Honestly I was expecting a little bit more out of this palette. I fell in love with a few shades that I though would be beautiful paired together only to find out that they aren’t as pigmented as I hoped they would be. I did manage to create a eye look I fell in love with and feel the need to share with you all.
How to recreate the look:
Apply #1 all over the lid as a base.
Then Apply #2 in the center of the lid.
Apply #3 in the crease, blending as you build up the intensity.
Lastly Apply #4 as your highlight.
If you own any of the Urban Decay palettes skip this one. If you are new to makeup and are looking for something affordable and versatile check and see if this one would work out for you, or even the L’OREAL LA Palettes Nudes 1 & 2, review on those here and here. If you have a extensive palette collection I would definitely skip this one!
Are you a fan of all of the drugstore palettes that are coming out?
Have a great Weekend and I will se you on Monday!

That is a very pretty eye look, but it looks like quite a few of the shades had a lot of fall out. Thanks for your review!
Yes you’re right. I’m not super impressed after using it a bit longer, but it’s nice too see the drugstore giving us affordable eye shadow palette option.
I heard also mix reviews about this palette !!! Great post
I was hoping that it would be better than what it actually is because the colors are so pretty. Oh well at least I can let others know how I feel about it so it’s not a total waste of money. Thanks!
This palette has so many beautiful colors, I’m so glad you shared a review!! I love the colors you chose to put together and I love how they look with your skin/eyes! I have lighter skin, but brown eyes, so I thought this palette might have better shades for me, too! Thanks for sharing!! 🙂
