Happy Friday Everyone!
Today I wanted to share a little bit about how my fitness journey is going. I want to be 100% honest with you and tell you that it’s hard to find the time to go to the gym. There are so many other things you can be doing and yet you have to choose to take time for yourself and that takes some getting use to.
My biggest challenge is getting to the gym once that happens I have no issue sticking to my work-out plan and spending the next hour de-stressing. I have even managed to make cardio fun by watching my favorite YouTube videos.
Over the past couple of months I have started to really enjoy my experience at my gym and have set up a routine that keeps me happy, but I know life happens and sometimes even if I carefully plan out my day I still get busy and don’t go. 9 out of 10 times I kick my self mentally for not going, but a day off isn’t going to hurt me.
At the end of the day I am human and I will always continue to strive to be “healthy” and for right now I am glad to be able to be physically fit and have the opportunity to go to the gym when my schedule allows it. This part of my life will always be a work in progress and who knows maybe one day it will be a part of my life that just happens organically.
