Products I regret buying pt. one

As much as I like to do my research and know that I am picking out the best product for that particular need sometimes the research doesn’t match up to what you expect from a product. Here are a few examples of what I like to call “products not made for me” or products I regret buying.

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser – Face Primer
AHH! Yes the baby skin primer I had picked this up in hopes to add a cheaper alternative primer to my Hourglass mineral veil. I had heard that it was similar to Benefit’s the professional and I did enjoy that when I used it. Can we also talk about how cute and bright the packaging is. Sadly it didn’t live up to everyone’s comparison and I was super disappointed with how much oily my face got when I used this.

Rimmel Clean Finish Matte Foundation
This foundation did not perform to it’s name at all! I have super oily skin and it did not leave my skin matte it still had a little bit of a shine peeking through after I finished applying it. Fast forward to two hours later and I was as shiny as a disco ball and it was not cute.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Precision Micro Eyeliner
This Eyeliner was a total disappointment let me tell you! I applied it and it took a few coats to get a really dark line which is already more work than what you should do for your eyeliner. The color rubbed off when I curled my eyelashes, and I did wait 5 minutes before curling my lashes after the eyeliner application. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be!

Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara
I picked this up to set my brows in place I figured it was cheap and it would do the job. When I first applied it my brows felt super wet and it took a couple of minutes for this product to dry. Honestly my eyebrows didn’t feel like they were set and weren’t going to budge. I rather stick to a product designed for the brows.

Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo
I picked this up because I had ran out of my Batiste dry shampoo and I wanted to give something else a shot. This had a much more comfortable price tag than my regular one so why not give it a go. This did not work well on my hair it felt like I never added enough product to get my hair less oily. Half way to through the day my hair was left even more greasy and looking more of a hot mess than what I wanted. I tried this multiple times and the same thing happened whether it was sunny, rainy or juts plain humid.

Do you have any products you absolutely hate? Any ones I should stick clear from?
Have a great Thursday!
