Book Obsession: The fault in our stars

This weekend I got time to read an actual paper book. This is something I rarely have time to do and yet my soul has a need for it. Being able to decompress while turning the pages, slowly entering the characters world is something I don’t take for granted. I got the pleasure of starting and devouring half of the book the fault in our stars by John Green and let me you I can’t put it down!

I absolutely love how much this book has touched me and has made me think about life. My love for Hazel (the main character) is HUGE. She is beautiful inside and out and is suffering from cancer yet she still goes on with life but knows realistically that she may only have a few days, months or years this still remains uncertain in her eyes. She allows me to be that 16-year-old girl crushing on a cute boy. My philosophy is if you can’t get in the main characters shoes you aren’t letting yourself enjoy the book. I love getting lost and losing track of time.

I guess what I am trying to say is you are never too busy to pick up a book, who knows it might change your life and learn something about yourself in the process.

This is exactly how I feel about this book! Picture taken from here.

Have you read this book? Are you excited for the movie?

Happy Monday!
