March Favorites

A bit of a late post but I figured it’s better late than never. I had a few of spring items in my favorites this month and I think that is just going to increase as the weather starts to get warmer.
Here are some of the things I really enjoyed in March.

I’ve been keeping the lips very easy and natural. I have been gravitating towards colors that are natural but look a bit better than my own. Benefit lip tint and the Baby Lips in Rose Rush.

I have been wearing this Essie Polish in Too Too Hot for a few couple of weeks and I have no intention to change it up. I absolutely love the smell of my Coach Poppy perfume and it smells like spring is all over me when I wear it.

I have been loving smaller cross body bags. I picked this at a thrift store for $2, such a bargain. I love that it small enough to fit my phone and my coin pouch and a chapstick and car keys. I have a serious love hate relationship with purses.

For my face this month I’ve kept it natural. My eczema has been acting up and I try to use as little product when this happens. I have gone back to my Eucerin Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30. I absolutely love the Simple revitalizing eye roll-on when I have bags under my eyes, which has happened more than necessary this month.

So I have been experimenting with Mineral makeup this month and I had this sample from one of my birch boxes from the brand Pür mineral. I have been enjoying this product but I feel like I can experiment a bit more before I settle on a full size product.

Do any of you have any mineral makeup recommendations? Any particular favorite mineral foundation you think I should try?

Have a lovely Wednesday!

  1. Mineral make-up hated me in my twenties and I haven’t gone back. I tried the Bare Escentuals for about a.year without much success.

Love that scent from Coach! I recently got a swatch to test.

    1. Thanks you for sharing your experience. I might find out mineral make up and I don’t mix. It seems to be the next hot thing in the beauty world so I figured I would try it and see. I absolutely love that perfume it’s a must have for me.

  2. I’ve only ever used Bare Escentuals. I’d say go to a Sephora and ask for mineral samples so you can find the perfect one for you (because that’s what samples are for and we’re all hesitant to ask!). Drugstore wise, you might want to try Physician’s Formula, they have a lot of mineral makeup (and often times coupons & sales!). I hope you find one that works for you!
