Empties #1

Sorry I was absent this Monday I needed a day to compose myself and get my final graduate school application done! With that out-of-the-way I wanted to share with you some of the products I used up. I love that feeling I get when I finish a product that I have had for so long. I always find these post interesting, so I figured it was about time I posted one.

1- Aussie 3 minute miracle leave in conditioner. I absolutely love what this does to my hair and I will be repurchasing this product.
2- Soap and Glory Scrub of Your life. Hands down one of the most moisturizing scrubs I have tried. This has a pleasant smell and leaves your skin super soft.
3-E.L.f Clear Mascara. I used this to set my brows in place and for a $1 it’s a really good inexpensive product.
4-Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration day lotion. I love this for a night cream because it’s thick and moisturizing and does not leave a you feeling greasy or oily.
5- Lancome La Base primer. I received this in a Birchbox and had this for a while before I started using this. I really liked this primer but it’s nothing extra special compared to any of the drugstore ones that we can find now.
6-Sugar Lip balm. I absolutely loved how soft this lip balm made my lips feel. If it wasn’t for the price tag I would repurchase it (maybe for my birthday?)

I want to make this a regular post maybe every month I will let you all know all of the things I have used up to hold me accountable in using what I have. I know that I have way more beauty products than I actually will use so why not you all help me be accountable to use what I have.

What have you used up lately? Have you tried anything that I’ve mentioned in this post?
Have a great Wednesday!

  1. I think that lip balm is overrated, my HG is Dr. Hauschka’s lip care stick, it’s kind of in the same high end price range ($13) but it lasts forever. Maybe I’m just picky. I was thinking of hand cream and how it has to be a certain consistency for me to really love, I’m using Burt’s Bees and it smells great but it seems to stay sticky for longer than I’m comfortable with. I always use up Eucerin’s Intensive Healing hand cream quickly. Anyways, yay empties! Making room for other products 🙂

    1. I have recently tried the Burt’s Bees hand cream and I hate it. I am having a really hard time using it up. I don’t like it due to the stickiness and how it made my hands feel after I applied it. I’ve never tried the HG Dr. Hauschka’s lip care stick if you recommend it, it must be good. I’ll have to try it after I get through a few more products.
