Head to Head: pixi Correction Concealer vs. benefit Erase Paste

I am so excited to be writing this post today. I haven’t done anything like it and I wanted to bring you something different. Instead of just reviewing a product how about I compare it something similar and see which one is my preferred product. I am starting this little head to head series with pixi’s Correction Concealer and benefits Erase Paste. Hope you all enjoy!

In this corner you have pixi Correction Concentrate Concealer weighing in at 3g/0.1 oz and a price of $12.00. This product is available at Target (only sold in stores) and at pixibeauty.

In the other corner you have benefit Erase Concealer weighing in at 4.40g/0.15 oz (Full size) and a price of $26.00. This product is available at Benefit, Sephora and Ulta.

Let’s see how these stalk up shall we!

Sorry for the really uninterested face, but I wasn’t feeling to well. As you can see I do have some major under eye bags that really need to go away! I just can’t seem to get enough sleep since 8th grade.

I started with the Pix! Correction Concentrate Concealer and I really like this concealer as long as I use less of it. This tends to cling to my fine lines under my eyes from all the smiling I do :).

Up next we have Benefit Erase Paste.

I have been using this concealer for years now and I’ve never really had any issue with it clinging to my fine lines. Sometimes this concealer and the pix! one are not brightening enough, especially when I don’t get more than 5 hours of sleep.

Here is how I apply these lovely products.

So which one is your favorite? I have to say that Erase Paste wins hands down for me. I am not saying that pix! is bad or that it might not work on you, but Erase paste has not let me down and provides coverage that does not cling to fine lines. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative check out the pix! concealer it might just be what you are looking for!

Do you like these head to head post? Would you like to see more in the future?
Let me know!

  1. Great post, you can really see the difference between the two products. I started using Eve Pearl’s undereye concealer and while I don’t have bad undereye circles, the product is amazing! It’s pricey but they sometimes have online sales (or 50% off at IMATS, making it $20). I have issues with Benefit so I shy away from their products :-/ most of their products seem to oily or cakey.
