In need of a adventure… – Day 15

Today post is going to be a bit of a flashback to the time I spent in Spain and Morocco.
I was there May 2010 for three weeks and when I look back those three weeks changed my life.

I was going through my facebook photo albums and I went through all of my pictures and I stopped and reminisced on my short vacation/university cross-cultural. I realised how much I desperately need a vacation where I can get away and just explore a new country and town. Some time just for me and no one else. A bit of perspective on what else is out there. I want to leave and come back with memories, knowledge and appreciation for the little things. Not that I don’t appreciate things now it’s just different when you travel.

I want a month-long vacation where I can take pictures like these. A place with beauty others might miss. I am currently planning a month-long get away to a place every girl wants to go to, France and other close countries near by. I am hoping that will be the answers to my prayers before I head to graduate school this upcoming fall.

If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?
How long has your longest vacation been?

Anyone from France or has visited that could tell me some cool places to see?

Thank you for all of the support you all have shown me.
I hope you are having a great Tuesday!
See you tomorrow.

  1. Hello there! I live in the South of France and would be happy to provide some advice on where to go. Obviously I do not even know where to start but judging by that gorgeous photo you posted I would recommend (off the top of my head): Vence (Art Town), Eze (Medieval Village with THE view of the Med), Antibes (Classic Cote D’Azur) and Ville Franche (Charming Town right on the coast). In addition, all of these places are not very far from each other so you have the chance to also drop by the more well-known locations such as Nice (I can recommend some fantastic new restaurants that just opened), Cannes & Monaco.

    1. Thank you for replying to my post! It is so hard trying to plan a trip when you live on the other side of the world. I will make sure to look up some of these places and incorporate them into my itinerary. One of the cool things I got to experienced in Morocco was getting to go to places most tourist didn’t know about. I am hoping I can ask around before my trip and have some cool places/restaurants to go to that the locals love. Any other place recommendations are welcome and would be much appreciated!

      1. I would be delighted to leave you an email address and offer more suggestions. Going to places that tourists do not know of or that Trip Advisor has not raved about yet is always the best! ♡ Just let me know what your final itinerary looks like and I will be happy to advise where to go!
