Sephora Favorites: Give Me Some Lip

Today I am going to review this lovely little lip sampler from Sephora. I picked it up as a birthday gift to myself and I am pretty happy I managed to get my hands on this.

First off this retails for $25. It includes 6 different brand lip products. This kit contains lip glosses, lip glazes and lip tints. Overall the color range in this kit is pinks and very wearable colors for every day.

Bite Beauty
High Pigment Pencil in Rhubarb
1.48g/0.05 oz

This product is a buildable lip crayon/pencil that glides on very smoothly onto the lips. The color is geared more for fall and winter. I describe it as a lighter burgundy color that is much more wearable during the day, but can be build up for a night-time look.

Full-On Lip Polish in Dolly
2mL/ 0.07 fl oz

This is a very pigmented lip gloss that also has a plumping agent. Once you apply it you immediately begin to feel a tingly sensation. This lip gloss feels a lot heavier than the others this kit has. Overall the color is also a very wearable everyday lip color for fall.

Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment
2.2g/ 0.08 oz

If you are a chapstick fan and like a little bit of color this is the product for you. This lip treatment is very hydrating and leaves your lips very soft after applying it. The color this gives is something very subtle but flattering one anyone.

Laura Mercier
Lip Glace in Bare Pink
2.8 g/ 0.1oz

I was so excited to try this product I had heard so many things about this particular lip glaze. I love the formulation not too heavy but not too light. The color is pretty sheer after you apply it you can’t really see the color (if you do not apply a lipstick, lipliner or lip crayon before the gloss) it gives. I personally wear this on top of a pink lipstick and this gives me that extra shine I enjoy. If you are a fan of just wearing lip glazes and nothing else this is a beautiful color. (see picture below)

Lip Gloss in Turkish Delight
4g/0.14 oz

I was also very excited to try this lip gloss because Nars has some pretty amazing products. This gloss is the lightest of all of the lip glosses in the kit. Once applied on the lips it feels very natural it isn’t sticky. Once on the lips the color does not show up but it does give off a very nice shine. I am most likely going to wear this with some of my lighter lipsticks since it is so sheer and not very pigmented on my lips.

Lipsurgence Lip Luster in Glitzy
3g/ 0.1oz

If I’m not mistaken this is a full size product. This alone is worth about what this kit cost. I love the lipsurgence from Tarte I own two other colors. The color pay off of this particular one is just like the packaging, it does not disappoint. This does have a lot of glitter particles so if you’re not a fan of sparkly lip products you will not like this particular lipsurgence.

Overall I think this is well worth the 25 dollars I spent. I am excited I now own and have tried out this kit. If you are a lip junkie or just want a few new items to play around don’t hesitate to purchase this lip kit.

Have you ever purchased a Sephora favorites kit?
Have you ever tried any of these lip products before? If so what did you think of them?

I hope everyone is having a good Wednesday!
