What I’m Loving: Week #24

I can’t believe I have done 24 of these types of post. I can’t believe I’ve stuck with blogging for this long! Crazy to think about. So here we are another Monday and another week lets make it a good one.

Here are few thinks I was loving this past week.

I can’t complain this week was pretty good. I finally got rid of my cold (YAY!) and got to bake some goodies at work. Any week that allows me to bake while getting paid for it is my kind of week.

First off my friends who lives in Colorado sent me this hand made card with a cute little penguin. She even made the envelope who awesome is that. I absolutely love snail mail there is something about sitting down and writing a letter to someone that makes me happy.

I have also been loving these cool pens I picked up from Paper Mate. Even though I am not going back to school you can never have enough colorful pens to write important things down.

I have discovered ibooks, oh boy I have a love hate relationship with this favorite. I am a hard back, turn the pages kind of girl, but the fact that you can download a book to your phone and read on the go is very appealing. I’ve promised myself that for every book I buy on ibooks I will buy two actual books. Fingers crossed that I can keep my promise to myself because I don’t think I will ever be okay with owning a Kindle or a ipad to read.

This week I have three beauty favorites. The first is this red nail polish from Essie in Fishnet Stockings. Around this time I am drawn to my reds again there is something about the temperature changing that makes me enjoy red so much more. Speaking of reds I am in love with this Bite lip pencil in Rhubarb. (I will have a review on the kit this came in this week!)

Last but not least is my Revlon Nearly Naked Powder. I rediscovered it and have been using it this week. This is a very natural finish powder and it is from the drugstore SCORE!

Have a great start to your week!

  1. Every time I see someone post about an Essie shade, I just want to drop everything and go buy it! lol. I love getting school supplies even though I am in my last year of college. There is something too addictive about new pens!
